Seriously, the difference is incredible. Especially considering how much the bass contributes to their tone. They have been missing out by not bringing along another bassist.
Me too. Idk why they are still using backing tracks since he left so long ago. I feel like they should've gotten another bass player for live, and let nolly keep doing bass in the studio like he has been.
@@ChaChaRealSm00th i think they've said something about not wanting a new person since they're already so tight as a group and it would be strange to have someone completely new join after they've been going for so long
saw them live in stockholm in january this year and i was afraid from ppl on facebook saying he sounded bad live. but he nailed it live such a range and adds an eclectic element to the group just like all the members do
I mean he can sing really well but do his screams always sound like this live, because if so I did NOT realize how much processing and layering they do on his distorted vocals to make them sound decent lol.
@@waveemann8857 he talked about how he tends to hold back a little bit with his live vocals to not burn out his voice, especially on tour. There's a video podcast talking about it. I think generally for larger festival shows like these where they aren't playing day after day, he can push more and it sounds closer to the album. But he sounds good live though, (like REALLY GOOD).
@@Zion-18 Was there, the weather just took it out of everyone by the time Sunday hit - this one was dubbed Drownload/Brownload from what I remember. From experience, you have to pick and choose where you camp these days just incase it chucks it down as it's been known to flood tents and giving them a good soak :')
We really need more professionally shot Periphery shows, they are amazing, and watching live is one of my favorite experiences ever!
3:11 That's a sick ass shot with them all headbanging together. Periphery has always been the master of that
We miss you Nolly

Periphery без вокалиста звучали бы лучше, вокалист у них конечно не дотягивает до качества остальной музыки.
What a boring fckin crowd.
Were they not big in 2016 or something? Newer fan so bit confused. I would've been off my fkin feet.
@@AfricanManEnlightenperiphery has been huge since p2
Man, this crowd sucks lol
