    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In medicine, consultants don't work on a shift basis. Also in India, most doctors will be working in private practice after work rather than enjoying time in home.So work life balance is much better outside India.

    Thanks for your transparent, genuine and helpful videos. Would be extemely grateful if you can offer some insight as a senior to a junior from your hometown/ city? Is UK a good country if someone wants work in the nhs as a doctor and live a minimalistic life and Aim for FIRE(Financial independence ; retire early being optional for me.) I am a junior done with plab 1 and interested in psych training and ideally settle fulltime in the uk adopting the FIRE approach. What I am asking your opinion on is whether Uk is better for fire compared to India?? (I understand uk has higher taxes but social support is better too. So any opinions of yours which helps me throough my dilemma is highly appreciated. Thanks)

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello, I remember your previous comments on FIRE. I think its easier to achieve Financial independence in India because you will need a smaller retirement corpus due to less cost of living. Whereas in UK, you will need to build a larger retirement nest to generate enough income to sustain a minimalist lifestyle. Best approach will be to earn in UK and retire in India. Apart from this I can't think of much difference between these 2 countries.

    • @SumanPaulDoc

      In MTI, your visa will expire after 2yrs. You will need a new tier 2 visa sponsorship, which will be from your current hospital in most instances.You will have to go back to India and apply for new visa and return back to UK. This process takes about 2-3 weeks.

    Yes indeed, a truly selfish person, who thinks about himself and money. You will never get a work and life balance because you are too introverted and inclined to be a selfish person. When making any decisions you will first consider money, time and your energy. Then you will decide what benefits can you get in return. If this equation does not add up for you, then you will not go ahead. Thanks for showing your selfish and manipulative self. You won’t be the first person or the last. We have plenty of people like you on India. That’s why India unfortunately does not have a NHS.
