It's clearly not that guys fault. It looks like someone shook up the ring box (possibly the man who gave him the box) and the ring became unseated in the box so as soon as he opened it, the ring just slid out since either it wasn't in it's slot or there was nothing holding on to it like a ribbon.
This was recently on Reddit and the groom replied! Quote: " Ha yup! This was 5 years ago - the video pops up once in a while. The lake was pretty shallow, and full of algae - the best man was actually able to spear it out of the lake with my wife's uncle's cane. I’m not sure if you’re talking about the video quality or trying to say that it’s fake but it most definitely isn’t lol. Then I decided to put the video on TH-cam so everyone from the wedding could see. And then it started getting a lot of view and comments. You sounds angry. Get a life.
