Well that's awful. A reminder to all that whenever you are in a public place look for and identify alternate exits. One something like a fire occurs, most people want to leave the way they came in. Most fire deaths occur within 15feet of an exit.

That poor little boy in his suit the flames falling on him his hair on fire 😢. I hope he survived and will recover 😔💔 how heart breaking for all attending. R.I.P. for the souls lost. Condolences for those who lost loved ones. 🕊
Seen that
Flashbacks to a venue called "The Station" Reminds me of it exactly. Horrible.
Yep - This would never happen in the US again because everyone knows about The Station fire.
Its kinda bizzare how so many were just watching it spread.
They just stopped in the exit and made it harder to get away
happens when you are shocked
It happened so fast. Heaven rest the lost
While everyone else's heart is broken, to me it's unbelievably stupid they'd have so much fire in a closed venue and then be shocked it turned to Hell. Lessons must be learned from this. Fire is not to be played with.
This has happened in the US at a nightclub many years ago. Indoor fireworks setting a ceiling on fire. So terrible. I think of the little ones.
Yes, the station nightclub fire. Was horrible to hear the people being burned alive.
Great White in Rhode Island 2003? yeah that was awful
Same thing happened in a nightclub in Brazil in 2013: BOATE KISS. 242 deaths and over 600 injured. SUCH A TRAGEDY 😰😭💔
Also Ozone Disco in The Philippines. Wayback 1996.
We used to host events and had to have the fire marshall look over everything prior to getting permitted. They made sure things like exit signs were not obscured, that decorative fabrics were treated with fireproofing, and that fuel tanks were near empty prior to any vehicle being allowed indoors. Apparently they do not have fire marshalls in Iraq, or anyone who understands how fire works. Sheesh.
Indoor fireworks, fabric hanging everywhere, all for the "spectacle"...
...fools!
I feel so sad watching this. What should have been a happy day turned into a nightmare. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to everyone affected by this awful tragedy.
The girl picking up the flower on fmames... hopefully she survived. May the victims also rest in peace, what an unbelievable tragedy.
Ok, you made me cry.
My heart goes to all the people who passed away during this wedding. May their souls rest in peace❤
They didn't pass away, they got kentucky fried.

0:54 es increíble la rapidez con que se propaga ese fuego, jamás lo había visto tan rápido desde que use pólvora
This was the same thing that happened in 2013 in Brazil with the "Boate kiss"
The bride lost her mother, her brother, 10 relatives and her father was fighting for his life in the hospital
Everything about this was tragic, it was the fault of the organizers, not the bride and groom
Im seeing some people say the bride and groom insisted for the fireworks to be used indoors, but I don't know if there is truth to that. Only in time we'll know all the details.
that marriage is cursed
@@deed2157 They may have insisted, but because the organizers did not explain the risks
Looking at videos of other weddings, this seemed like a common part of the decor, they probably just wanted what they had seen before
@@rudyzk What a foolish thing to think
don't allow wedding planners to insert EXPLOSIVES like fireworks into your wedding building.
it doesn´t matter if the couple wants pyro in the show, as an organizer its your responsability to say no and explain the risk of doing this
The organizer was the one suggesting for the fireworks
Oh my heart breaks! I think those people at the end were running towards the bathrooms and most likely perished. Absolutely heart-wrenching to watch.
Did no one learn a thing from the Great White fire in Rhode Island? Pyrotechnics indoors is a BAD idea.
They said only 2 exit doors and 900 guest. The whole complex engolfed in fire within minutes
Wow how do they even know that many people to invite. So sad
They also turned all the power off so they were plunged into darkness.
They should have never used fire works within that buildings at all. that ceiling had nothing but cloth on it.
The ceiling so low and decorated. Thats it. Concert venues have high ceilings or outdoors. Its alarming they dared to use the firework inside with that setting.
Bro, you can easily see those fireworks caused tho at fire. Those poor babies. RIP 😢
The fireworks should not be done in any close hall or room as it sparks can cause tremendous damage specially when children are around then should be avoided 100%.
The event organisers should be arrested for this as he is the one whose silly mistake turned into tragedy.

Try to check this out. Its not on fireworks.. they are not dumb as that to let the fireworks on when they know it would cause it. Someone from their planted the cause. We all know that Mosul was Isis infested before... we dont know if this a lone attack to Christian minority their which is 150k as of now coming from 1.5Million before Isis emerged. Right now there is a total population of 40Million in Iraq, majority are muslims.
@@Anshikaverma43995It was the bride and groom who persisted the hall authority to allow the fireworks, the hall actually had rules against firework usage inside it. They must've paid thick amount to gain permission. I read in a report that the groom is denying that fireworks could've caused this and blaming the authorities assuming there might have been a short circuit.
@@thanatos2288yes you are right too as we can clearly see that sparks are the cause of fire
Nobody in Iraq ever heard of the band "Great White"? You don't set off pyro techniques that can hit the ceiling.
Concerning the band: And?
@@Nitramrec- Obviously you haven’t any idea that this exact thing occurred at the Station Nightclub 30+ years ago. The band, Great White, went on stage and they set off giant sparkling fountains that set the ceiling on fire. There is actually a video of it on TH-cam. Half of the club patrons were killed including some band personnel. Over 100 dead with many people burned to death when trapped. 😢

I feel so bad for this couple and people who were killed 😢
When the wedding takes place everyone wants a wonderful and extravagant day and this is what you see, it will be remembered forever in everyone's hearts. 🙏
Such a tragedy. Anything flaming should never be part of an indoor display. It is easy to see how this happened. Poor people!
When you have pyrotechnics like that inside. How could you not expect this outcome? Whom ever had that ridiculous idea should be charged with over 100 counts of murder.
My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all those mourning such an unnecessary loss of life. ❤🇦🇺
ExCtly
This is heartbreaking on what is suposed to be one of the happiest days of there lives so much heart break
The fireworks in a close hall leads to a catastrophe.
With the highly hot air generated can catch fire on the roofs decorations.
It's a sad state of affair...
My deep condolences😢🙏
Tragic. This is why fire code and building materials in the US are so strict. RIP to all those lost.
Flames shooting up to the ceiling, ceiling adorned with paper, what could possibly go wrong.
I am so sorry this tragedy happened. I wish prayers and sympathy could bring them back but my heart is with them all.
My heart breaks for the people who lost their love one . I feel for the bride and groom who are taking on them selves when this is on owner of venue it’s Not their fault plus they are grieving for the dead . Please to the couple mourn grieve but do not blame yourself
Condolences to all families who lost their loveones may their souls rest in peace 😢😢😢
This was sad to watch but the question here is, why lit this lights inside the building which would have led to disaster (It did!). Devastating but ironic how people don't focus on safety first. RIP for those who lost their lives.
Yeah and no exits. A large hall like that should have exits on both sides down the length of the building. You always see this in large halls. Everyone would have gotten out. Unfortunately only one main exit and the kitchen exit..Wtf.?? This really sucks.
Getting married is always a tragedy. Sometimes more.
Well that's awful. A reminder to all that whenever you are in a public place look for and identify alternate exits. One something like a fire occurs, most people want to leave the way they came in. Most fire deaths occur within 15feet of an exit.
So sad.. I saw in the news that the bride and groom are in hiding and bride is not even talking since then..hope they find peace and comfort. This was not their fault. Just a tragic accident
It was their fault. Their vanity and ego got people killed. Why did they need this ridiculous indoor firework ceremony with 900 people who they can't possibly know everyone?
The owner of this hall and the planner or who ever decided to have fireworks in a closed room, that could reach a height - close enough to the ceiling.... should be jailed. Because you have to be the dumbest to not know you have to deal with any type of fire with maximum caution ! Even the bride with such a dress was dancing in the middle of four fireworks going off. Such a careless planning !! I hope the victims rest in peace and the families find healing.
It was the bride and groom, the hall's rules were against it. But such rules can be easily broken when you're wealthy. The groom doesn't believe the fireworks caused it.
@@thanatos2288 wow. it's so clear from the clip what caused the fire. the groom needs to be questioned too. Also I would blame the hall management too. They know their place the best. If it was in the rules, then that's it. No matter what it shouldn't have been changed for anyone. Safety should be first and not compromised. Now, they have a case and also lost their business.
No one knew this would happen. Stuff like this has been used in weddings many times. There doesn’t always have to be someone to crucify and blame in every bad situation.
@@jomr4249 This is not a natural disaster. Such accidents could have been avoided if indoor pyrotechniques weren't used and the hall had secured facilities. The hall contained several components that were highly flammable and illegal to use.
@@thanatos2288 Everything in the world that is bad could technically be avoided if we were all Gods and psychics. But we aren’t. We don’t always have the foresight to know when something bad will happen.
I dont understand how its wasnt common sense to the bride and the groom and everyone present that those festive sparks are like fireworks. Look how far up that was sparking and how close all that material on the cieling is..what did they think would happen. This is all so sad but who ever put this together was so careless with fire safety. They didnt even have fire extinguishers ready or anything.
The stupidity of people is incredible... I've seen people exit a building then immediately stop... creating a blockage preventing people behind them from exiting.
Same on escalators... stopping dead once they're off the moving ramp.
Keep moving and get well away from exits...
I am so sorry, so sorry What a great tragedy/// My deepest condolence to all people who lost their relatives and friends. Poor young couple...
What is sad is that people are still using pyrotechnics indoors after multiple incidents like this have happened.
What a tragedy. One thing you can learn from this: if there is some fireworks inside, do not wait and go outside! As soon as possible!
Fireworks, inside and under paper decorations. What could go wrong?

Godammit, that place went up like the Hindenburg.

Similar situation at nightclub in Rhode Island, US - Station Nightclub Fire, also killed 100!
I don't like that the media was saying this was a Cristian family in Iraq as if that's why it set on fire- because it'd a muslim country. Like No. Religion was not the reason
It was an accident
I really hope not only people who want such extravagant weddings but also the venues will try to put people’s safety first over the money. They never should have allowed that inside the venue.
Господи, какой ужас, какое горе 😢. Соболезнования родным погибших.
Ignorant people started fireworks indoors
What you expected
Human error as usual
What insane material is the ceiling built out of - it took like 10 seconds for the whole ceiling to catch fire. Definitely not fire proof.
Rest in peace.
It's sad to know that a lot of these people died not because they couldn't make it to the exit, but because they were looking for loved ones......
Sad thinking about but yea could be
Wow! That’s why don’t play with a fire especially inside place of flammable materials. It was a very tragic accident unfortunately many people perished. Just like what happened in the Philippines over 300 college students died it started a short circuit then sparks inside the club created a massive fire. Be cautious 😮😢
