The SL is a classic LUXURY vehicle with a good amount of power for daily driving. It's no muscle or track car. Will your mustang or corvette give you a massage on the road while heating your neck? Will either give you an incredibly smooth driving experience in all gears at all speeds? NEVER. Just totally different cars.

Pumas are kind of driving shoes. They've got thin soles so you feel "more connected" with the pedals. I have 2 pairs and I use them on road trips and whenever I'm in the mood for some spirited driving.

Most vehicles are aimed at 95th percentile male height, which is about 5'10"... when people in excess of 6' complain about lack of head room... you kind of miss the point.
dunno if rich's a giant but i can hardly believe the sl being camped in the driver seat in any direction... and yeah I mean u buy a mercedes for the fact that you can get around quite sporty but always in comfort and style. that applies for the amg models as well. they just give you more oomph and sportier looks (alongside suspension tweaks and a hefty depreciation^^ not being able to turn off ESP in any Benz tells you all you need to know, a Benz will always take care of you, no matter what^^
$110,000 SMT i love Mercedes-Benz & their work, but c'mon. I'm pretty sure I can find something that matches the SL550 in styling & performance at a way better value
This isn't a raw street legal race car. Besides if you want to spend $110,000 on that kinda car then why not spend $108,000 on a ACR Viper which crushes the ZR1 on the track.
ZR1 will probably go 100k miles no problem 600+ hp from a small block chevy is easy but thats not the point of this car this car is a luxury sport not a raw beast
Ya know, the average rich person doesn't always dress like he/she's going to a photo shoot. Most paparazzi-taken celebrity pics show celebrities wearing exactly what Posluszny's wearing, presumably for anonymity... to balance out the fact that they drive really pricey cars in town, oddly enough.
@peteranagle this guy and the gay guy along with leo parente are the only good reviewers that this show has. derek isn't a car enthusiast, he makes it obvious, and trish... come on, she was only selected to review the evo because she's hot. donny, richard p, and leo actually talk about how the car drives, and that's what we want.
No headroom?? Who the hell wears a HAT inside a car?? The hat is for when the roof is down, and then there is no headroom problem... Ha Ha ...For the money I would buy a used Ferrari 360 Modena Spider. Look it up!

i would trade the 0 for amg badges any day. ive ridden in a sl55 amg and it is mind blowing when you think how heavy it is
