I don't like it at all I'm a big fan of the round lights. I don't care about the speed because they're fast enough already. With the dash Billy is afraid of arachnids. I should so wish I had the command unit in my car the air conditioner is a downgrade. Nice review again bill

The only downside on this car is 3 things. 1) The ABC system-->make sure the hydraulic fluid and filter's been changed every 40k mile AT LEAST; there is no maintenance schedule for it. 2) Brake dust due to the OEM pads-->switch to Akebono's Ceramic EUR fronts and rears and your good plus it stops way better. 3) COMAND (Alpine) center is outdated-->for a $110k list car new it should come with a touchscreen COMAND (Alpine) center. I had to replace mine because it kept going out for no reason then it came back on-->$3500 (dealership). Other than that car is solid, fun to drive and the car MAKES YOU with the top down. Easy to maintain if your the DIY person and have the tools. I switched my interior lighting to LED's. I switched my fog lamps to HID's 35w with ballast. My 2009 SL550 with 19" AMG 5 star (like in video) has the 951 pkge. Car only has a little over 14k miles-->tuxedo black with tan leather interior. I replaced my ECU with a RENNTECH ECU-->easy "plug & play" and hp is tad north of 400 as well as the torque. Those slats on the side of the front quarter panels are for cosmetic purpose and provide no function at all. And here I thought when I bought it that they vented heat from inside the hood(USA) or bonnet(UK). Use fleece oil filters-->either MANN or Hengst.
@CraigVader - yes, from "Strutmasters" but I here, from what I read, that they are NOT the way to go. Plus, you lose about 110lbs if you strip out the "plumbing" and components of the ABC system. Plus you need to add swaybars and links to have an adequate suspension system instead just swapping out for coilovers. The only vehicle with the same "chassis" is the SL65 Black Series that has KW adjustable coilovers which come stock on the vehicle; it did'nt come with the ABC system and those are'nt cheap. Also, I forgot to mention, certain years of M272(V6) & M273(V8) had a "faulty" balance shaft sprocket (it was made of a very soft metal which over time, if not changed, would render both engines to "fail" costing thousands of dollars for repair). MB got sued over this and had to cover most of the cost to repair this defective sprocket. I have a list of models and engine #'s with this defective sprocket. My 2009 SL550 (M273-->V8) engine # falls outside of this defective sprocket meaning it has the updated or stronger balance shaft sprocket. You can get any MB engine # via VIN through a MB dealership called a VMI-->vehicle motor inquiry sheet. I could provide a link of these "defective" models and engine #'s if you like. Yep, MB pissed off alot of people with these reliability issues "swaying" them to other car manufacturers of the likes of Lexus or Infinity.
@CraigVader - 👌 . FYI, I fluid flush and change the filter in the ABC system even though my car only has 14.2k miles on it. I get the hydraulic fluid(Pentosin CHF-11S) from Amazon--> 20ltr container for $230 which is less than $12 per ltr. Good for 2 flushes. The dealership, Autozone, O'Reilly's, Advance Auto charges anywhere from $25 to $35 bucks per ltr. Filter cartridge(hydraulic reservoir) from Amazon $35 whereas the dealership almost charges double..$55. They recommend changing the hydraulic fluid every 4 yrs or 40k miles. I got a syringe with a plastic tube that I dip in the reservoir and extract the fluid out just to look at the color(once a year)...has to be green instead of dark green or brown. Everything else on the car is easy-->spark plugs, diff, tranny, oil & filter change, cabin filters(2x), air filters(2x), brakes frt. & rr. I hardly take my car to the dealership because they will "top off the fluids" and do a 50pt inspection and charge me $250 w/o calling me first because I know what I've done to the car. I told them never to do that crap again w/o calling me first.

640 bmw is not a 2 seater or a hard top
