Be it real life, video game, movie or TV show - whenever I see a tunnel like this, I hear the music in my head. That's when you know you've played a truly great game.
It's funny how when you look at it in a TH-cam video, the Jeep sequence is only around 2 and a half minutes, but it sure feels a lot longer when you actually play it.
I remember playing the rex fight and this part on my uncles save file for disc 2. Sadly I could never play from the start because I could never find disc 1. I bought the full game once i got my first credit card and played it on my ps1 that still runs like a champ
This is the best game ever made, the Bosses, the hero, the plot, the villain, REX, the music... It's an absolute masterpiece, i hope that it get remasterized for ps4 or 5, after playing that, we will all be ready to die a beautiful death
Even a Twin Snakes type remaster with the original voice lines and soundtrack would be perfect. Tein Snakes is a good game, but not hearing Encounter is jarring and a let down.

Twin Snakes built up really good graphics and cinematic scene suspense. Voice acting was great. The way Gray Fox dodged all those bullets from Metal Gear REX and threw his Sword into the Radome his voice actor really brought out feeling "A cornered Fox is more dangerous than a Jackal!" Really Climatic.
Joseph Barnes He kinda did. Yes, Snake can dodge bullets, but that does NOT justify jumping 50 feet into the air, kicking a Metal Gear in it's shin, and not suffering any pain from kicking metal VERY hard.
To this day nothing on a video game ever gave me the rush this part did. I thought Liquid had finally died.... And the words were just perfect.. "Not yet Snake.. Its not over yet."

This was the best final battle in video game history nomatter what anyone says.. Not one of you could have guessed Liquid was gonna appear behind you in a jeep haha. It was the greatest.
if you are low on hp you will have to load your last save from your memory card and pick up more rations because is fucking impossible to beat this without getting hit
tts and the original are both good games and they are superior in diffirent areas. mgs1 has an overall amazing score but has horrible graphics. tts has ok music and really good graphics (for the cube I mean.) they both have their points when one feels more epic than the other. mgs1 cut scenes I felt went too fast and well tts is unrealisticly slow. gameplay depends on how difficult you want it to be. they are both good games.
i don't know why but this area always seemed to run really smoothly, i know the ps1 is limited in terms of power but has anyone checked if this is 60fps?

Liquid took a hail of bullets from a mounted machine gun and just kept trucking,without even a shirt. The Snakes really were built different.
