Hi Silver Limey, the thing with modern circulation coins, even proofs, that they are struck in high mintages. There's no shortage of them, and even if you get graded, they don't draw interest. Many times they sell for less than the price of grading. I haven't done any new videos lately, but have quite a few older videos you can check out. I'm planning on doing new videos in future when I have a chance to put in leave as I've been working through the lockdown period. regards Robert.

Hello Tisetso. I'm assuming they all circulated from pocket change. With regards to rands and cents: 1965 1c, 50c and R1 are worth big money. Then all the rands from 66 to 1976 are sold for their weight in silver which is about R80 to R90. Your get silver rands in the 80's also but those are collectors coins and you would not have found them in pocket change. Silver rands are slightly bigger than the old large nickel rands.
