One of the things that I love about the video is that when the elders start the chant he is mouthing along with it but not yet singing it. Since they are his Elders or Father's, this action is almost like a student or son committing a lesson to memory so he doesn't forget it or mess it up. It kind of subtly show him as a highly powerful but young and inexperienced character who is capable of doing great things but is in over his tiny head in accomplishing them which shows when the Girls use his own spell and logic against him.
Real late here but jack was specifically picked and actually turned the part down which he later regretted the gnome looks just like he did back in the day but that's why they asked jess because with his voice talent he could sound very similar to jack sing the part and people would still get the reference they were making
Dai Lai Lufti De Santra Megido Dai Lai Lufti de Santra Hear Me Evil Spirits NOW! Dai Lai Lufti De Santra Megido Oh Oh Oh Dai Lai Lufti De Santra Megido Dai Lai Lufti De Santra Megido
In the context of the episode and scene, I don't think he said that to the "elders" he was praying to, rather as a threat to the villains, like "hear me villains, you are about to go down cuz I'm summoning my powers". Tho it could also be ur interpretation, that the gnome gods are evil spirits themselves
Dai lai. Lufti de santra megido Dai Lai Lufti De Santra Megido Dai Lai Lufti De Santra Megido Dai Lai Lufti de Santra Megido Reunite Above Me Fathers Hear me spirits Now Dai Lai Lufti De Santra Megido Chant From See Me Feel Me Gnomey

Theres a reason for that... jack black was specifically picked to voice the gnome which is why it looks like he did at that time but he turned the part down and since most cartoons are animated first then they add the audio (voices and sound effects) later they just had Jess do it because of his voice talent he was able to sound a lot like jack black so the audience would get the reference and they wouldn't have to scrap the episode or change the gnome it was really kind of a clusterf*** but they made it work, I'd still love to have heard jack do it tho
Arguably, my favorite song in the episode.
Ive rarely hear the casting of a spell portrayed so epically.
Omg I know right? And Jess Harnell is so epic here. I don't know of any other animated musicals that are this good.
VlaDDrakkeN Same! it was so amazing.
For me, the best song in this episode is freedom beef this only my opinion

This is probably my favourite song from the episode. I especially love the part where the gnome starts to chant his spell.
And the camera zooms in on his boobs
I can just listen to this all day. Harnell was so good in this special.
Wacko Warner's voice has really changed since he turned into an evil magical gnome.

Honestly I'm very happy that they picked Jess. Jack wouldnt be as good as this.
He was simply a second choice. Also Jack has a pretty good voice. Its clear that he was doing his best Jack Black impersonation

Yeah, the official text is Shai lai.
Love this song
Hear me, evil spirits now.
Nope. Don't think he's going to be evil.

hey bro, es un buena idea de la letra, solo que hay un pequeño error es: "saila lufti de santra mekidu"
Really would have been awesome if they got Jack Black to sing like they wanted.
gnome has left the room
it's send a chant to set them free and sai lai then dai lai
Buen vídeo
