Yep, love You guys ❤❤❤❤❤
I love how some of these people know to make actually smart decisions instead of falling for old tricks and traps!!!!❤
Zombieland - almost the entire rule set, but my personal favorite of the Double-Tap. Always head-shot zombies people!
Also, selling Chucky to the mom in the first place - sure, the homeless man didn't know Chucky was possessed but he also didn't end up getting killed by Chucky.
As a retail employee, I personally did this to a random family with a seemingly possessed Pokemon plushie because I'm not paid enough to potentially get mauled (which is why I have trouble with Ash's favorite Pokemon).
Scream 5 & 6 - Sam for going full out rather than just "self-defense" only, make sure all Ghost-Faces are down.
I'm a woman of simple tastes- seeing Mark Hoffman get the recognition he deserves for surviving his trap makes my day
Hello fellow saw enjoyer!
Prey literally saved the Predator franchise. I really want to see a Predator fight a Viking or a samurai now.
I haven’t seen predator franchise is it good?
@tvalokibatman6563 The first 2 movies yeaah!!
@@tvalokibatman6563 the first movie is fantastic, Predators is good, but I wouldn’t recommend Predator 2 or The Predator. Overall it’s a good series
Half this list could be smart things Naru did in Prey.
@@sister_bertrille911 exactly
The smartest decisions would be half of these people not entering the haunted house or touching the haunted object😅😅😅.
Correct
Facts.
Or reading the Latin. NEVER READ THE LATIN !!
There's another lesson that Final Destination taught us: Death always gets it's victims sooner or later.
But then we wouldn’t have a film 😉
Finally people actually being smart in horror movies and not dumb as bricks
Right? It’s rare but holy shit! Is it awesome to see that.
@@eddieolshefski6467Yes, but sometimes the smart characters die.
Horror movies lack common sense 😂😂
Unfortunately it helps the plot move forward in some instances. Also, remember not everyone is smart
@@Jeremiah_Rivers76because of bricks people sometime
The smartest decision in every horror film is to always stay in a group, and never split up and never stay behind. Also, attack the killer together with any weapon, like guns, clubs or bladed weapons.
And always double tap
Genius,oh and DO check the back of a car
@@susanafernandez8600 exactly
Beat the baton
Just as long as that weapon isn't social media like we saw in the most recent Texas Chainsaw Massacre is also a stupid decision even in a group.
I was hoping they will make a movie where a Predator fights Medieval Knights.
There was one but it's a fan made movie but a good one, forgot the title though but it's here in youtube somewhere
I want to make a horror movie we’re all the characters are smart and make smart moves so that when the villain gets through it shows how big of a threat it is.
I think you should watch silence of the lambs there are so many smart decisions made in th3 movie
YES!! So glad you guys are doing multiple parts of top 10s again! Even better now 20s! Here's to hoping you continue to do more videos like this. Maybe do the same for older videos and lists. Feeling so much Nostalgia with this!
The movie Prey (2022) had a whole lot Smarter decision. Then the last Predator movie did! Thank goodness for, Naru.
‘Planet Terror’, one of 8 most favorite zombie movies of all time.
Erin from You’re Next should've been number 1. There was not a single stupid choice she made and came victorious because she didn't hesitate once
She was trained hard since her childhood for such situation, that's why she didn't even hesitate to murder them.
@@ashwinidesai4051
Exactly, hence Erin should've taken number 1.
Agreed! She was bad ass
Her stupid choice was choosing her weak, greedy parent killing boyfriend.
@@keylacmckemp1309
How is stabbing him in the neck and face “choosing” him?
Joel saved his own life in Scream 2 😅
Joel is the smartest character in a slasher ever. He saw death and didn't want to be apart of it!
I like that some of these are smart decisions by the villains
The smartest decision in any horror is while being chased by a killer, get to a safe place to hide and stay hidden
And also don’t just hit the killer and assume he’s dead - confirm the kill
@@therunawaykid6523 So true, I lost count how many victims fail to do that and it cost them their lives
@@DirectorsChoice Sadly that never accures to the would be victim
15:15 "Graboids cannot fly." should be "Graboids cannot fly YET." because these creatures have 4 stages of life and, in the end stage, they CAN fly. The flying graboids are introduced in Tremors 3: Back To Perfection. They're called Ass Blasters and they lay the eggs that hatch into graboids that turn into shriekers before becoming ass blasters. 19:55 Hannibal didn't escape from upgraded prison digs. He was being held, temporarily, while being transferred to speak to Catherine Martin's mother. That makes his escape both more and less impressive. He was able to escape from a cell he'd only been in for a few hours instead of one he had the chance to study for a while but it was a much less secure cell than one an actual prison would have had the chance to prepare ahead of time if he was going to be staying long-term.
‘Aliens’ & 1987’s ‘Predator’ are still two of my top 5 favorite science fiction-horror movies.
Love the multiple channels and the range of topics you cover man!
I love it when people are smart on these🎉🎉🎉🎉😂
😏😆
Prey was an amazing prequel of Predator 🙂. I enjoyed it .
Gale Weathers star-69’ing Ghostface in her apartment in Scream 6 so she knew where to shoot.
I thought the girl in terrifier 2 was smart. When Art tried to suffocate her with a plastic bag, I was happy to see that she poked a hole in the mouth part of the bag with her hands. I've seen too many movies where Noone tries that and they just die
These decisions were absolutely smart but the Tremors decision was pure genius and I loved that movie for it

Erin and Naru are both smart and badass final girls.
belko experiment when the guy gathers the micro bombs from the bodies and plants them on the guards at the end
In the Predator film series, humans have used guns to harm the Predators, but it's often portrayed as a difficult task. The Predators are shown to have advanced technology, including armor that can withstand bullets and other weapons.
In the first Predator film, the human characters use a variety of weapons, including guns, in an attempt to kill the Predator. While they are able to injure the Predator, it ultimately proves to be a formidable opponent. In the end, the Predator is defeated not through traditional weapons, but through the use of improvised traps and weapons.
In subsequent films in the series, the humans continue to use guns against the Predators, but the Predators' advanced technology and abilities make it a challenging task. In some cases, the humans are able to harm the Predators with guns, but it is usually through the use of specialized ammunition or weapons.
Overall, while humans can use guns to harm the Predators in the Predator film series, it is often portrayed as a difficult and challenging task due to the Predators' advanced technology and abilities.
Disney’s Predator is for Anti Predator Lore that is fact.
Awesome list it makes a great change in horror films it making the films more interesting really enjoyed this 👍
I love mojo❤
Thank you for sharing 😊🙏
I haven’t watched this video yet but I have a feeling Final Destination will be on here
the alternate ending to Curse of Chucky, that was pretty smart, and cathartic for anyone who's been traumatized by chucky
We absolutely like your new top 20 more smart decisions in horror/slasher movies. Good work, WatchMojo.
😊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Yeah, Hannibal's SUCH a genius, it's scary xwx;
Hi Kirsten have a great day and love your voice 😍
Glad to see some characters knew what to do to stay alive.
Top ten Spider-Man comic story lines that need to be made into a movie or series.
That’ll be awesome
More proof that cunning and resourcefulness are your greatest weapons in any horror scenario.
Two of my favorites are the Mom from Gremlins and Danny from The Shining.
In Gremlins, the mom already has a knife out ready to fight the moment she knows shit's about to go down, and straight up kills three Gremlins using various kitchen appliances and shielding herself with a folding chair.
Danny, while being chased by a deranged Jack through the hedge maze, doubles back and covers his footprints in the snow, hides in the hedges until Jack passes him by, and then books it out of there, following the tracks back to the start of the maze.
Another smart decision I would count was the boyfriend from lights out using both his phone light and the car light or the blood test from the thing.
Nearly everyone in Lights Out was smart. I loved that about that movie.
Those graboids move through the earth like it's water, falling down a cliff should be like diving off a waterfall into a lake
Chucky is still the dumbest villain that ever became an "icon" to horror 😂 most of us as kids would have absolutely demolished that doll, even at that same age. Andy should have rip- hey anyone else notice Andy is also the name of another child that has an important talking doll.... Pixar you sneaky...
😂
It’s genius how the little girl in the exorcist goes right back to innocent little girl and you totally feel it, amazing actress
What about Nancy?! Tricking Freddy into reality so she could use traps to defeat him was really smart!
I love How Bishop in A2 helps then saying to Ellen not bad for a Human
Cherry with leg upgrade from Planet Terror actually seems like a champion from League of Legends.
I frickin love Erin from you’re next- She’s so heckin cool!
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked Prey 👏👏
Number 15 she became has del gato from the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy, look it up the character is a reference to ash from the evil dead and other horror protagonists from other well known classic stories back then.
The movie 'Splinter' is full of good decisions. They're trapped in a convenience store while an alien creature is outside, and for the whole movie they answer every "why don't they do this" question the viewer asks. The writers definitely knew you'd come up with solutions, so they just had the characters try them.
Its a good strategy to use your enemies weapons against you.
In Evil Dead remake eveyone was actually pretty smart
The Fright Night remake doesn't get enough love, it was a fun movie!
What about another top 20 dumbest horror movie decisions?
Mojo did already do a list of best combo actors pared in a movie, good chemistry and such, not romantic, I mean like Jeff goldblum and will Smith in independence day type thing, two actors who had great on screen interaction, long term, not like in one scene but whole movie characters that work great through a majority of the film when on together and with others on screen, idk if I'm wording it right
The smart choice in PREY was from the feral predator to go invisible
Taabe was cooking him
Now that is smart
Yet bad choices make great stories.
Hannibal Lecter as number 1. Makes me feel like everything is gonna be okay.
If “everything Sidney Prescott does” is not at the top of this list idk man
We need more smart characters in any movies
Yooo I’m not watching anything else until I see Planet Terror! Wtf!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Graboids don't fly until the 3rd movie!
Shredding Michael does nothing because what if the Cult of Throne gets their hands on the remains of his body? They can resurrected him
Oh poor Colin 😂😂
@6:22 she says rocket launcher attatchment. Its clearly a grenade launcher lmao
Bro the guy who Made prey please make more
Who needs an Invitation when theres no house.
Can we get a best Angela Basset performances video???
Concerning n°6, I think the remote controlled cars with bombs thing from Tremors 2 is better.
They already had Michael in Halloween Kills. They literally could have killed him there and then. The stupidity of that film made me not bother coming back to see Ends.
They did a perfectly good job of ruining the Michael Myers character. Once upon a time Michael was actually scary.
"Rocket launcher attachment...."😅
The movie Prey Really blew me away and I couldn’t even look at the original movie the same
Interesting
15:15 not yet anyways 😂 in the other parts, they do
The smartest decision is always the people noping out early, like the guy in The Taking of Deborah Logan. If you have the chance, leave.
The smartest decision is for the last guel to pack a 1911 .45 and a couple of spare loaded magazines. Nothing like 3 rounds of 230 grain +P jacketed hollow points to the pumpkin of a slasher/chainsaw/hammer wielding serial killer. And one more when he goes down to make sure he is planted correctly.
3:55 In what world was the body count only at 2 at this point in the movie?
the only movies I've seen on this list are final destination, jaws and tremors, US looks somewhat interesting I might try and watch that but I'm not sure
HALLOWEEN ENDS
was dumb
how'd they know that was
MICHAEL MYERS ?
It's so sad to hear that the main actor in fright night movie is died 😅
guys do u have any ideas about the name of the movie which is about house surrounded by monsters and they have no access because of salt taking through the house in a circle shape. if u know i d be glad
In final destination 2, I don't think someone can, "voluntarily" check themselves out of a psychiatric ward.
They can when they voluntarily admit themselves. Watch the movie before commenting.
Claire’s “smart movie decision” is just nothing, she DIES there
I don't think that gas line thing would work that way. The gas doesn't come from the house, and unless the house was already full of gas, it would just come back out the pipe. The fire might go down the to the source of the gas, or towards that, but I don't think it would blow up the house, would it?
Halloween Ends was an insulting send off for Michael Myers. How are you gonna have the main man not be doing the killing in 98% of the movie? The whole Corey bit was stupid as hell.
What is the gun range on a bullet
Are we seriously going to bleep the word “bitch” now?
We love you watchmojo
Yea 😀😀👍🏿⭐😎❤️
except fire would only blow out hole in gas line, because pressure, if this line is before meter, would be to great and if after would not have enough oxygen in line without suppling it to have fireball travel through line
We need more common sense in horror movies 😂😂
Sad that they left out the entire Phantasm franchise.....
You're Next was a brilliant film.
In my opinion, the smartest decision was Hoffman using the bars to survive the modern reverse bear trap.
Joel is to smart to be in scream anyway
Dawn of the Dead (2004) using Chip's to get supplies to Andy. Since Zombies don't attack animals. 🐕🦺
the redhead
got lots of people killed
in that
I kept saying they should have used a quadcopter or a rope to deliver the food
...The chick from You're Next ....ERIN one of my top 5 smartest HEROES IN HORROR MOVIES surviving..make the greatest decisions she single handedly killed all the villians ....l❤❤❤
There was lots of explanation why Arnold was covered in mud. He fell in it! Have you seen the movie???
