Please actually listen to what I’m saying in the video. I never once said that Anya Taylor Joy was all natural. In fact I said that, she has had procedures done but in a way that still brings out her individuality and self expression instead of looking like a typical cookie cutter tiktok face.
Now i watched it again and still think my comment wasn't uncalled for because you said that despite maybe having some subtle procedures they didn't change their natural appearance. I disagree about Anya because, in spite of her not looking the same as all the other altered faces it doesn't look natural to me anymore. But i will agree that it does look very unique.
@@iskrasretovic4570 I can understand the confusion. I was talking about 4 people that moment, and i said, they still retain their natural and unique appearance. The word Unique was more for Anya and Rihanna because they have very different looking faces and aesthetics.
@@iskrasretovic4570 What do you think is natural then? Because there's so much variety in appearances by nature, what would you classify as "natural"? Because surely your idea of natural is shaped by your personal expectations and experiences.
@@sanjanat1085 hmmm, let me think 🤔 Maybe, and this might sound wild, natural would be not having plastic surgery or other face alterations.. and natural looking alterations would, hmm, look natural even to people who are more skilled in recognising them..

I don't like the modern aesthetics. It gives "aliexpresss bought it for cheap vibes". Bold brows don't look good on everyone. Big lips don't look good on everyone. Tiny upturned nose doesn't look good on everyone. Not everyone is meant to have a sharp jawline. Some people's faces are not designed for these features. something i noticed about these "smartphone" archetype faces that most celebs has now (aka: soap brows, chiseled jaw, plump lips, "siren" eyes and button nose) that it a 100% dominates as the new beauty standard on social medias, if not irl. there's a reason why apps such as tiktok pushes those contents mainly into the algorithm. because if i legit see any girl on insta reels for example, who has any features that don't fit into this archetype then i just see so many mean comments under the video and it makes me upset ngl. i mean with trends such as that one nose trend (when ppl with small noses used a filter that gave them an arched nose, tipically common among minorities like arabs, jews and romani ppl, and they remove the filter and say they are no longer insecure) it is no surprise...

Both parents genetics will always have an impact on child's apperance. Male beauty standart bar isn't as high as women's. So saying son's attractivity isn't corrolated from parents attractivity actually comes from this not from the reality. Actually so many "accepted" attractive male celebs look so much like their fathers also there are so many attractive male celebs who never knew who their father was example is Björn Andrésen who was known as the most beautiful boy in the world his physical apperance shaped global entertainment industry all of that boy band trend pretty boy are based on him. He didn't know who his father was until he was in his 60's and he looks nothing like his mom. People forget so many celebs come from broken households and lots of them don't know who their fathers are. Marilyn Monroe also never really knew who her father was either. Entertainment industry choses children who don't have involved fathers or fathers at all so they can use them more. That's why that study's sample is also quite low. Thank you for the video very well researched🧡

The male beauty standard isn't as high as women's because women are too busy looking in the mirror, obsessed with themselves.
Let's also keep in mind that a lot of these beauty standards exclude women of colour (especially black women) while at the same pressuring women to "look" racially ambiguous AND have eurocentric features. Let's not also forget that when it comes to black women, colouristic bias really dictates that if you look any darker than Rihanna, Beyoncé, or Zendaya then you're deemed undesirable. (i.e. the "Becky with the good hair" nuance) I'm very sure colourism exists in many cultures that also effects why standards of beauty are so skewed now.

Cosmetic surgery should only be for people who have actual deformities or injuries like burns etc.
It shouldn’t even be legal to get a surgical procedure done on normal healthy parts.

@@yeshummingbird you can do whatever you want with your body. I’m taking about what doctors do to other peoples bodies.
When they became a doctor they signed a Hippocratic oath to not harm their patient. Which goes for mental and physical health. A doctor knows how a healthy body should look and operate like.
When they disfigure it to look unnatural and also inject artificial chemicals into it in order to do so, for a result that does not treat a diagnosis or extent life expectancy, you can’t tell me that’s healthcare.
There are young vulnerable people with mental illnesses that think they need to look like a cat or alien and get shocking cosmetic irreversible procedures done that are irreversible when they grow up, and then regret it. Where do you draw the line? Anywhere?
There’s also children being pushed down a certain agenda that makes them infertile and permanently disfigured when they get a certain procedure done that is accompanied by certain hormones.
You can’t tell me that’s what a doctor should be doing as healthcare. You can do whatever you want to your own body but don’t bamboozle a doctor to defy their Hippocratic oath.

Take care of your own health. Stay away from social media's beauty standards and live your life. That's all.
as someone who is bi, never ONCE in my life have i actually felt attracted to someone with conventional features/a copy and pasted person. and honestly id never want to look as bleak and unoriginal as the conventional standard is.
Soo true.
Even the difference between different races ain't like it used to be.
It is weird .
it's good to care about our appearance, but it gets to a point
Those who mimic someone's personality clothes looks is narcissistic
Finally someone is talking about this. I was feeling this since a long time now, and yes, . Everyone is just looking same ugh
I deffo agree!! I think the biggest compliment i got for my looks was "wow ur so pretty, its unique" and at first i was confused but i realized i dont have to look like the girls i see in social media, because uniqueness is beautiful! Everybody is different and thats good
You are a blessing for posting this video. This is exactly what i have been telling people around whenever they complain that their noses are 'too long' or their jaw is 'too soft' or another part of their body is 'too weird'. It is because we have grown accustomed to social media looks and models, we have been taught from a young age that what is shown online is supposed to be the standard for beauty. But the more people follow it, the more people change themselves, the more we all look the same. People are ruining their uniqueness and natural beauty all because 'it is the standard'.
We are not dolls, we are human. And what makes us human is our individuality, our skin that beautifully changes with age, the wrinkles that show that you have been here or so long, scars that show parts of your story and the memory of how they ended on your skin, facial features that prove that you are uniquely you. Every part of our body shows that we have experienced hardship, experienced ease, experienced life. Entirely different from the dolls that don't have actual bodies nor souls.
Standards will change over the years but your decision to hurt yourself because you did not look 'pretty' will still be there, eating you alive. Take care of yourselves, not only physically but emotionally too.
This helped me feel beautiful. Thank you for your words. I’m removing myself from the sphere of social media and its toxic influence. I’m coming back to reality and learning to embrace my own unique beauty.
Self esteem is at an all time low amongst women of all ages these days. So much for empowerment 😂
Our imperfections and different features is what makes us beautiful we are all different. That's what make us all inclusive and different from eachother. We ahould be ahppy to be different.
God makes everything good and we hate it and change it, then blame God
FACTS
I swear I thought I was tripping for thinking everyone suddenly looks like Madison beer
This is yall opportunity to shine if you know you’re different than the rest ! Let the world see you !!
genuinely this “beauty standard” is only an online/celeb type of standard, i have a round face and pretty rounded out features and im told daily im the most beautiful women by strangers… in person no one looks for this “look” they look for realness and that’s why im successful in presenting my beauty
To be fair, Zandaya, Anya, Emma and Rianna are already naturally beautiful...
Zendaya = beautiful? 😂
@kalb390 yes she is very beautiful
@@kalb390 you commented this on a video about how everyone is beautiful 😭😂
@@vrepitsa1083 everyone looks like a Ubisoft game npc, that's the whole point of the video.
@@kalb390 not every celebrity does though. That includes Zendaya
Gosh I thought I was the only one who thought this 😭
I had similar thoughts about the Qoves channel. Not like they are wrong at all but some presented information need more clarification (especially that the channel is very popular now among young people) plus some studies shown there also had a specific number and type of people researched.
I highly recommend Kibbe body types system and Kitchener face essences if you want to find what looks good on you and what fits your personality. Previously, as a Gen Z I wanted to dress in baggy, street style clothes but it looked so overwhelming and shapeless on me, later in more girly, coquette styles but they looked like children's clothes on me instead of cute. Then, thanks to them I learned that I look my best in more classic and "mature" styles of clothes and makeup (something that everyone now wants to avoid at all costs btw).
If you want to look your best, the worst things is to decide on one particular style based on what is desired at the moment. Not everyone look good in Asian makeups made to look younger and cuter, sometimes too much bright colours can overwhelm you, nude lips make your face disappear etc. It all depends.
Honestly, seeing these people looking like everyone else is just boring. Why would you want to look like someone’s ex and confuse your partner anyway? This ain’t no anime.
This summer was shocking for me. I saw so many identical girls on the beach and at my night walks, it's insane. The same hair, the same tan, the same hot body, the same baddie clothes, the same makeup, aaaaaa everything. And then when they post themselves on Instagram it's even more easy to see. I wonder how the f everyone became so hot and perfect suddenly? We are talking about normal teen girls.
“Why does everyone look the same?” Why does Americans (mostly Hollywood) look the same should be it!
No this is everyday people too.
@@naomivought9317 yea no. I live in a very corrupt 3rd world country and when i look at these American hollywood influencers putting in botox, fillers, and getting this and that part of their body done, just so i can see the most naturally beautiful girls walk past me in the morning at a very crowed and smelly market, or the most beautiful women trying their very best to make a living.
Because plastic surgery is so accessible and normalized, people want a quick fix and are lazy to put in the work (as we see with ozempic to lose weight, when it should only be reserved for those with diabetes and other health conditions), or too insecure to appreciate that they are healthy and good enough, to go ahead and get alterations like it will make people like them more as if they weren't already beautiful. Sure, people get bullied which leads to insecurities.... but come on, just cuz someone bully's you, doesn't make them right or correct about any mean thing they say about you. Idc how many times you've received a comment about a particular thing said about your body, they are NOT correct. Fuck 'em, don't give them power. Stay true to who you are, they are just miserable people that have nothing better to do. There is nothing wrong with anyone on this planet, wake up and appreciate your health. I swear if people were in less fortunate circumstances, they would NOT be caring so much about fruitless things such as appearance, like people who are starving from hunger, or training in the gym, nobody is focusing on their appearance, and you shouldn't either. 'Learn to be grateful', it's the best advice for anyone who is insecure about their appearance, online is online, the real world is our reality. And in reality, nobody looks like online people, they are fake and have filters, don't be jealous of fake people that don't exist in the real world. You are hurting yourself in the end. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, different cultures across the world have different beauty standards, stick to yours. Look at pictures of your parents when they were younger, see your ancestors and how proud they were to be from their background, don't hide that or change that, be PROUD! If everyone was the same, we would get bored easily, embrace your differences. Sorry this was long, I was just feeling like I needed to vent out my frustration with the constant battle of looking good to please others when we should just be ourselves to make ourselves happy.
@@maryn4150 Just from your first sentence “Because plastic surgery is so accessible and normalized”. Once again you mean America or Holloywood? Cuz i live in a third world and boy oh boy do i see the most naturally beautiful woman who are STRUGGLING to make ends meet walk right past in the streets of a busy DIRTY market. NATURALLY beautiful women exist and DO NOT look the same. Just not in Hollywood and probably America too!
Edit: i did came back and read ur comment and yes you do make a point! People really should just love themselves
@@naomivought9317 Loud and wrong!! Go to ANY third world country and you’ll see the most naturally beautiful women that has ever graced the face of this earth on the sides of the streets begging for money. Saying this as someone who lives in one, only hollywood and mostly Americans look the same because they can AFFORD to do surgery. But that’s not possible in my country or in my neighbouring countries as well but yet when I’m walking into a horrible smelly and dirty market (cuz that’s what we have) i see the most naturally beautiful women that should run for miss universe that’s either selling or trying to buy to make a living. Naturally beautiful woman exists, they’re just not in the mainstream world. And they for sure don’t ALL LOOK THE SAME.
The actress of the boys look way better before than now
I used to absolutely hate myself. Not just looks, but that was a major part of it. But as the new beauty standard has been developing and set, I am becoming more and more grateful, and happy even, that I have my own look. That despite my insecurities, I never felt the need to be a carbon copy of the beauty trends.
I'm just an average person who sometimes uses makeup for fun. I don't cover my whole face, I don't even mind not covering up all my acne. I have found a simple and easy style that I enjoy that stays true to my face. The beauty standard keeps changing, and I guess I feel blessed I never could be bothered to chase it.
This also happens in K-pop industry. In newer groups I can't recognize who is who, everyone looks the same. Blackpink and red velvet are the only 2 gg that I can perfectly distinguish. Don't get me started with New jeans...
What gets me so worried about this is the young girls/children being exposed to all this at such a young age. I've seen so many girls ralking about how they will change X or Y thing on them when they grow up. It's so sad that were being influenced to get rid of what makes us unique.
@@P_st4rch0 yet circumcision STILL exists....it's a removal of a body part...but whoooaa hey, hating and hurting males is ok though.
Feels like we're in the twilight zone, feels like everybody hates their natural looks, just depressing that it's come to this. Social Media has ruined so many lives in more ways than one.
“Never knew her name, they looking all the same to me”
SHES BACK WITH BANGER 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love you🥹♥️
I was just thinking about this the other day, and this popped up
Honestly seeing everyone only with that particular face started to freak me out, there's nothing wrong with that face it's just a variety of beauty is better and natural and honestly it feels safer
I don’t know if it’s just me,but whenever someone gets lip filler or any cosmetic surgery,or starts using excessive makeup, they automatically seem less pretty to me,I don’t know why,it just doesn’t feel like I’m looking at a real person
W😮hy do they look the same...fox eye surgery, pointy nose surgery, lip fillers, and buckle fat removal, and eye brow lift
Fox eye surgery has been out since end of 2021
Hispanics even look the same today, the guys look like Edgar’s and the girls wearing makeup crop tops, jeans others having long hair with no makeup
I thought my face blindness was worsening, I’m a bit relieve that some people agree that almost everyone looks so similar…
People are going for that so called IDEAL BEAUTY STANDARD instead of appreciating one's own beauty. Everyone has one feature which makes them unique from others but now people are admiring that beauty instead going for one same look.
Why do a lot of women look alike today? Kim and Kylie. That’s your answer. Video done.
The Kardashians must’ve been responsible for this trend, and it definitely ruined women.
I prefer a clean makeup look or simply focusing on a skincare routine to address dark spots and other concerns. Altering your features with procedures like lip fillers can change your appearance now, but remember, your natural features are what you pass on to your kids. You might feel pretty now, but you could regret it later.
baby face supremacy all the way.
I only sense fake and high standards within this aesthetic…
It's hard to to 'just be yourself' when people only accept this kind of look to be considered attractive. We can ignore it but it does effect the dating pool and how we are treated by others. That's just the sad reality. Either be the same mold or miss out on a lot of perks. A lot of young girls would rather look just as pretty even if they all look the same than different and being treated as less. Especially when there's a lot of competition? Who won? Corporation and (some) men who only values women based on appearance. If every girl look just like how they want they can simply pick whoever
Thinking that dating is a competition is exactly what ruined modern dating and us.
As a guy, I don't really know much about this stuff so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But girls, don't be pressured to look like this. Of course, everyone has their own style and if this is your style, that's cool. But I feel like obsessing over it falls into the same bucket as the body dysmorphia that a lot of body builders have -- unrealistic, plastic social media standards. Being naturally beautiful (genetics, staying healthy, working out, etc) is much better than sacrificing your health to look the same as every TikToker.
"Looking like yourself in this day and age is the ultimate flex" so true!!! I need to remember that. A part of me desperately wants to have the "instagram face" and look like "an average beautiful girl on the internet", my other part wants to rebel against all of this crap and beauty standards
