I’m glad someone finally said it . Natural beauty is this certain look , not just anyone who doesn’t wear makeup . The whole point of a natural beauty is you naturally have features like clear skin, full eyebrows , full lips , and moderate proportions.

I was teased for my brows when I was in highschool but I feel like grooming and growing into them now they look great at 26. I would rather have more eyebrows than less🤷🏻♀️
Not exactly. Tinted, dark, defined eyebrows are a sign of beauty but thick brows look masculine and heavy. People always use the example of extremely feminine, soft faces to make a case for heavy brows but they don't realize most women don't have this same advantsge and will look worse with them.
@@AnaSchultz-kx9tq i'd say that there isn't really ONE way to be beautiful, it depends on how everything comes together. masculine features look good in some girls and in some they don't. in my experience, most people that have thin brows don't look really good at all to me. i guess that it also depends on what one defines as thin brows.
This was a great video! I loved the incorporation of class and social commentary as I think beauty is often inextricably linked to societal standards for a variety of reason. I also appreciated the inclusion of makeup and surgery into the analysis. Well done!
I think its somehow related to what we call female or male gaze, we as females follow the beauty trends for women and now its trendy to have hollow cheeks, men instead only follow what they biologically like in women and their taste wont change with trends. What i mean is that men and women have different ideas of female beauty (male beauty too but now i tall about female), something can be trendy but not attractive for the other gender and the opposite, an example is that we as women usually prefer a modelesque look in women but men usually choose girls next door as the most attractive, another example is the ultra skinny models in the 90', we wanted to have that super thin body but men kept prefering curvy bodies
The chubby cheeks that he's talking about is not the cheeks of someone whose overweight. In Runway Modelling they prefer models with hallow cheeks ‘cause it's extremely contouring their faces but it's not necessary to be beautiful, just maintaining a healthy weight by being lean will reveal our facial bone structures underneath that determines whether someone has good genetics and well physical development (high cheekbones is the most desirable btw) and for young people, despite being lean, they still naturally have buccal fats that comes with them still being young and that's the “chubby cheeks” that's his pointing out.
A strong bone structure, in general for both men & women like higher cheek bones which create at times hollowing effect, along side a stronger jaw, with more symmetry biologically sends subconscious signals of better health. Though fuller cheeks are often associated with youth and that is also a sign of more fertile , and possibly more healthy not necessarily heavy.
@@Ashley-km4qi Because they are indeed young but it requires a very well developed facial bone structures and some other facial traits like proportions ( or some are sometimes very underweight or some got buccal fat removal surgery) that gives them that look, he has a videos about cheekbones that explains this, not all people have high cheekbones also. For most people that aren't a model, it's not necessarily and it's normal to have buccal fats especially when you're young.

@@lorihunt50 i agree, there are other platforms where I can modify my feed to just that (pinterest and instagram for example), yet I meant this exposure is important for the wider public. I feel like it increases exposure in terms of what we see as ‘beautiful’/ attractive and seeing more different types of faces will help with our perception being a bit more objective rather than wholly cultural due to the biases we have innately 🫶🏾
@@lorihunt50This isn't a discussion about being good at everything, it's about dropping more images of people of other races. This is a beauty channel that specifically comments on facial features, so naturally, it would make sense to display beautiful people internationally because if not, that assumes that one single group or region has pretty people or good features. Hair sites is bloody broad. Facial aesthetics & features is not and goes hand in hand with regions (our ancestors literally developed their facial features as a result of the regions they grew up in). "Why not go to another site" is the social media equivalent of telling someone to just leave their dystopian country. Why should they? Why should they be forced to leave and not criticize because of other people's incompetence or misinformation.
It would certainly apply to steroids but not the regular gym goer. The muscles demonstrate an honest indicator to build muscle. However, the gym bros get a points off when they go past the athlete build (most women's preference) and into the bodybuilding look (looks unnatural).
A "key hole" pout is not something you really want if you want to be aesthetically beautiful in the long run. Because when you do not have a lip seal it causes mouth breathing. Mouth breathing actually causes the face to become elongated and out of proportion. Also it will cause dental rot. This sort of thing happens as a result of bad plastic surgery, and if you're a plastic surgeon doing it deliberately that's unethical.
what is the explanation of why general skin harmony/ evenness in color and tone is important for attractiveness, but also redness from blush can also be attractive? what does this mean for naturally red cheeks? is it dependent on other circumstances what would and wouldn’t be attractive?
Skin smoothness and even-ness gives the appearance of youth and good health. The blush gives the appearance of vitality and also good health. After all, only people who are really sick have no visible blood in their skin, so the blush (when done naturally) looks like someone is just brimming with health. Of course this is only for people whose tone skin will show that color. I'm black but my skin gets very red on certain parts of my body. I'm not convinced that wearing blush would look natural on my face though

I always sport natural look because for some reason deep down I believe if I use make up I'd need more make up because I'd be experiencing break outs (chemicals in make up products) so for this reason I rarely wear any make up. as for plastic surgey I find that its deception like you didnt have those features and so you cheated your way in. Make up can be cheating if you look like a whole different person without it but when used moderately it enhances the natural features. Edit : cosmetic procedures for reconstructive purposes and braces dont count in the plastic surgery as cheating. It's those fillers, botox, injections that people deny having and create an illusion of being naturally pretty.
the thing about plastic surgery for me is the commitment/permanence: what if i regret it after i decide i don't like looking at a stranger in the mirror when i brush my teeth?
How is plastic surgery “cheating your way in” if the features you are born with aren’t something you have to work for? Sounds like gatekeeping. This whole channel is about being treated better in life bc you are attractive. If you need plastic surgery to get to that level, there is nothing wrong in getting it.
@@marbleqt it is cheating. If makeup can be considered cheating then plastic surgery is cheating too. You didn't have those features and now you got those because you got plastic surgery.

Typical centerfold model measurements (36Dish- 24ish-34ish) and gorgeous faces are the actual 'status symbols,' with regards to this video. Hair and skin are NOT the 'status symbols.' Why is that? Most females, including prepubescent females, can EASILY grow long nice-looking hair. Which means it's common - not special. Same with skin. Most people have nearly perfect complexions. Which means it's common, and not a "special" feature. What IS special (not common or ordinary)? Idealistic measurements of iconic centerfolds/bombshells and naturally gorgeous faces (naturally meaning NO cosmetic surgery, as stated in this video). These two features are special - especially if you didn't have to work at it to attain it. Sorry to be blunt, but normal hair and skin are standard features. The body/shape/size of iconic centerfold models and surgery-free gorgeous faces are the luxury features. Think Ford versus Ferrari the way guys in the locker rooms...

Yawn! Its only around 15% or less of black American women who are beautiful. This is a fact.
I was blessed with good skin and eyebrows and not much else 😭
7:41 Anncy what are you doing here!!😂
I wonder if that "honest indicator of fitness" thing also apply to buff gymbros, aside from makeup
It would certainly apply to steroids but not the regular gym goer. The muscles demonstrate an honest indicator to build muscle. However, the gym bros get a points off when they go past the athlete build (most women's preference) and into the bodybuilding look (looks unnatural).
muscles are hot because no one can give them to you.
You don't need a lip seal to not mouthbreath.
@@wackyjackieebut getting used to opening your mouth may cause mouth breathing
@@beluving just breathe through your nose?
Yeah I think it is ugly.
Look like someone who gave too many Blow Jobs, I mean, Steve Jobs.
Mouth breathing causes xerostomia (dry mouth) which causes dental decay. Nothing natural. Great observation.

what is the explanation of why general skin harmony/ evenness in color and tone is important for attractiveness, but also redness from blush can also be attractive? what does this mean for naturally red cheeks? is it dependent on other circumstances what would and wouldn’t be attractive?
Skin smoothness and even-ness gives the appearance of youth and good health. The blush gives the appearance of vitality and also good health. After all, only people who are really sick have no visible blood in their skin, so the blush (when done naturally) looks like someone is just brimming with health.
Of course this is only for people whose tone skin will show that color. I'm black but my skin gets very red on certain parts of my body. I'm not convinced that wearing blush would look natural on my face though
please make a video about the dark triad look

How to get natural beauty:
Be born with it.
how to know if you were born beautiful? what features define it?
@@babyangelxoxo if u r beautiful, u will know it. People around u will make u aware of it.
I wish more people were like this. When my friend removed her eyelashes she looked like a different person.
@@marbleqt plastic surgery is NOT natural
Make up enhances what's natural. The argument isn't about pro or anti plastic surgery. I didn't state my opinions on that.
Didn’t expect to see Laura Berlin on here😊
Typical centerfold model measurements (36Dish- 24ish-34ish) and gorgeous faces are the actual 'status symbols,' with regards to this video.

Can you do a version on men? Idk it would help maybe
my undereyes suck .theyre not puffy or baggy but just dark . im pale so the contrast is too obvious and it makes my eyes look sunken. had it not been for my undereyes id stop wearing concealer since i dont use foundation either. i do dots and dabs here and there but my main issue is concealing the undereyes.
please break down zayns face
Step One: be naturally beautiful. Step Two: keep yourself healthy. Step Three: turn off video.
Hoyeon jung is a great example. She could be a European or American top model if she wanted to i just never thought about why this would be so 😮
According to you which is the most attractive face shape? Not the facial proportion but the shape in general.
I believe it’s oval face shape for women and square shape for men
Def oval face
I don’t think you can judge the shape without taking the face into consideration. Close set eyes look better on heart shaped faces for example. Some shapes might be more forgiving I suppose. So maybe something in the middle
@@TmlZZIt's actually heart shape for women that's seen as the most attractive.
@@starrisesky Heart shape is also attractive but oval is desirable especially for women ‘cause it is the most proportional face shape. If someone has an oval face shape all types of hair and jewelry style suits them ‘cause the shape of their face is proportional.

unfortunately my brows are more like Mona Lisa - no existent lol. ( i have like 6 hairs on each eyebrow 😭) Ive never been good at make up so i dont tend to wear it BUT i do grab a thick black coal pencil and always draw on my eyebrows. Its not great but better than having none!
My ex gf is just like this... but she wore them confidently without any shading or anything...and pulled it off perfectly. I don't know if it's her confidence or she's just pretty which made her draw attention away from her little eyebrows. I guess ask a friend who cares about you and figure out a way to draw attention from your eyebrows to your other best features. Cause now that I think about it, she had an amazing smile and a cute laugh
@@chalidem that’s good for her, I don’t think I’d be as confident to do that, I personally feel it looks better with mine drawn on, but like you say, she probably looked pretty without them and could pull that look off.
