Moko Jumbie is happiness,sadness, joy & everything - I am really trying to figure out that concept...I guess walking on stilts that are extremely high can help solve life's emotional & mental problems - Isn't that stretching the good feeling one get when standing or walking on stilts, a bit too far..

It comes from deep part of our culture that grew and lived through slavery, indentureship, colonialism--the ability to walk above your immediate reality, a time to literally step out of yourself. It's not about stretching things too far, it's literally how our art has shaped our survival.
