As a huge fan of Tom and Lance, as a couple, and for each for their respective work and accomplishments, I thought this was beautifully presented. A Love Story told through photography. Thank you.
A perfect video showcasing the life of Tom Daley as he grows into an Olympic gold medal winner. They are intimate, and yes, sexy. The family photos are a wonderful memory of the way Tom's father supported him.
Hi Fred and Harry. These are wonderful pictures about people, always preferable to pictures of people. Simple as that, however, not so simple to do. A good day for cake, fellas. Laters...
In many of the photos, Tom looks so very, very wary . . . guarded, almost suspicious . . . one wonders what he was thinking and feeling. Remarkable photos by a master at the art of photographing people. Well done - very well done indeed.

Both shoots are great but the first is my personal favourite. Love those images in the bedroom with the border of medals up at the top. I used to work in the local highstreet photo lab in Plymouth and they used to come in regularly printing off photos from various competitions he’d been in. Lovely gesture bringing those prints along for him and would’ve meant a lot. Would love to see more about that whole 2 year commission of athletes in a video as it looked like there were some great varied set-ups.
I've really admired these photos since they were published! Thank you so much for your work. They are a pair of accomplished individuals who came together and made such magic that your photos convey. Thank you. ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉😊
Even though there are still many difficulties for gay couples, the young of today are blessed with the relative freedom to be themselves. I’m very happy for them all. Lucky photographer to have subjects like these!
Enjoyed this one too. You should consider a "donate/tip" button- does youtube allow that? Would happily buy you both a "coffee/kofi" for the hard work in making these. Would be really interesting to hear Harry discuss some of his bigger, long-term projects like the "Survivors" or "Single Dads", how he started them , how he kept them going, thanks, D
Wow, thanks a lot for the support! Means a lot. We are thinking about ways to potentially make a bit of cash from these but would love to offer something in return atleast! And yeah great idea. We have been meaning to cover his more personal projects as well. Lots in the pipeline!
Hey Harry, I have a question. How do you go from amateur photographer to getting commissions? Maybe it's different now days to when you started out, but as much as I love photography I don't really see a way forward to do it even semi-professionally.
Hey James, great question definitely would be good to cover in a video. Although when Harry started was probably a different landscape to what it is now, he has had many young photographers assist him over the years who are now quite successful regarding commissions. I will ask him and see what he can suggest and let you know, also maybe make a video about it!
Hi, I would say the biggest change in my style was the realisation that most of the images that really inspired me, were simply shot with daylight. I have definitely moved away from setting up lots of flash to finding spaces with an intriguing atmosphere in which to place my subject. I've also been influenced by documentary photography, so when editing my work, I now look for the emotional impact rather than technical perfection (which was something I was concerned with when I started 35 years ago). Thanks for supporting our channel! 👍
It is about the light. I have one landscape that I keep fussing with , because it is a scene under noonday light. I'm always after it with a paintbrush trying to make it look less 2-dimensional.
I am just glad roly-poly Shaun Murphy kept his clothes on. Never have liked him - always making snide complaints against his opponents to the snooker authorities. As regards 14 year old Tom, he looks very sad for a very young lad - I guess this was at the time he had the bullying problems at school. It's there even at weekends, because he knew it would be there again the next day. That';s my reading of it anyway.
Tom has always seemed like such a nice guy and he's stunningly beautiful. Lance strikes me as an opportunist, getting Tom "off the market" about five minutes after he came out of the closet. It's like Lance saw the need to "lay claim" to Tom before anybody else could. It was probably easy with Tom in such a vulnerable and impressionable place. Lance would have known this. Lance also would have known that being romantically linked to Tom Daley was a great career move. It's never sat right with me. That said, I have no skin in the game, so to speak, this does not come from a place of jealousy and I absolutely could be wrong (I hope for Tom's sake that I am).

Thank you for the kind comment!
Great images from both era's enriched with the stories behind them!
Great photos of a handsome and charming guy and his obviously much-loved husband. The early family shots must be very precious to Tom.
Stunning work. Lance and Tom were lucky to have you photograph them. Very evocative.
Stunning video - awesome Tom. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a lot as always. Your comments are always great :)
The second shoot is magical, everything is just right.
Thanks! I thought that too when I saw it. Agree with Harry when he references a renaissance painting with the lighting. Also credit to the location!

Great story and fantastic shots as always. Looking back at your older shots, how do you feel your style and skills have evolved?
Interesting question, I'd like to know as well! I'll ask him tomorrow and maybe we could make a video about it otherwise I'll let you know
@@fredandharryborden I second this, I notice a shift in style from Harry's earlier work and would like to hear him chat about it.

At 5.31 - surely that's a young John Bercow?

you couldn't be more wrong
Comments like these are best kept to oneself: no basis at all for being so public about such suspicions.
I thought I’d heard in videos of Tom that he was the one doing the chasing not the other way around
