That last explosion didn’t come from nowhere, just before Gyutaro went down he says he’s trying to use that move to save himself but couldn’t do it in time. But because demons (especially upper moons) live a bit after their heads are off the attack still went off but Gyutaro couldn’t control it anymore. Also love the edits, make me laugh every time.

I honestly love the way Tengen fights, he's born with good hearing just like Zenitsu, so he uses the attack pattern and recognizes it as a rhythm of a song. And just like you're able to bop your head to the song you never heard before, he predicts the rhythm of the attacks and responds accordingly.

I Mean its not just about his good hearing. He's a Shinobi, basically a master in martial arts and has the best battle IQ out of the hashiras(main reason I would've loved to see him Fight akaza as both are martial artists). You can see the difference in how he strategizes his attacks and defense compared to how others fight. For example rengoku vs akaza, he was basically just spamming the same button over and over and using power moves instead of figuring out his opponent(even tho he wouldve lost). Meanwhile the whole fight with daki and gyutaro was pure strategic.
