@@arugula517Nahh when I was stuck in silver almost in every solo queue match I got dumbass trolls who would throw the whole game if you ask them to do litrerally anthing.

The 'goal setting' tip is so REAL! just tested it the other day by myself and now heard it from you, sheeesh gotta find out how to do it effectively tho thanks for the video
To be honest, I am a bit struggling how I do everything right but the one thing I was scared of is finding an ego of myself to be better than my team and the Enemy team as well. I am mostly comfortable playing a support role for my team as a Between sentinel player and controller because I just want to out smart everyone of what I am capable of but sometimes I hesitate by not taking a chance. Now I learn it’s not about training myself for becoming better on every technique. It’s my Ego. I would thank you for making this guide as a reminder for me to be better because of what I am doing things wrong.
this video came out at literally the perfect time. i recently joined my university’s b team (diamond/ ascendant players) and i have indeed hit diamond before, but barely. still don’t know why i made the team, but ever since, i’ve been grinding and playing my heart out to this game and i can barely hit plat. i’m going to take this videos advice, and focus on these tips.
I don't know if this was implied, but I think something that a lot of players overlook is their ability to support their teammates/provide value to the team. I mean, hyping up your teammates is always effective on some level, but something that helps build rapport is helping set up your teammates (and/or yourself) for success. Think about what value you have for a specific situation. Defense or Attack? Post-plant or pushing? What does your utility and weapon have to offer? Are you in a good position to capitalize off of this value? Are your teammates?
ive climbed from peak bronze 2 to gold 1 in 2 months of playing ranked after having only played for fun with my iron friends/unrateds for about half a year. i absolutely shit on silvers but have days where i don’t warm up or something and it makes me sad to lose even though it’s straight up a warm up diff.
The point about how mental can affect gameplay is so true. I am always trying to get positive vibes going right away because it just makes things so much smoother. And i never get why people yell at others in game because its just gunna make them less confident and mad so they'll play WORSE. And its so much better to use it as a teachable moment so it doesnt happen again
Agree with what you said especially mentallity wise. Im a bronze (always on soloque), and when I play with my plat and diamond friends, they said I can be placed in gold but Im a hardstuck bronze. Things that I notice as initiator main, fade especially, the reason why I am being very inconsistent was my mentality. I hated it when ppl flaming eachother till the point I told them stop putting freaking question mark while blamming others and look at yourself dude. I once cluthed a match and I got a bottom frag neon keep shouting "quick quick he is low!" I muted him right away to focus and once I clutch 1v3 I said "stfu dude you make others panic" and now if ppl are being annoying, I will just mute them and focus Edit : I always soloque tho, cause I rather lose myself than having my friend losing as well especially when I have a bad play

Try to find out what your weakness is and than focus on this. Dont train more than one ghing at once and rather put all focus on one thing for a certain amount of time (for example for one week)
The person playing isn't the youtuber, he takes clips from other people and uses them in the background footage. You can verify this by checking his description. To add to this, it is highly likely that the person making the video isn't even a high ranked player, he never disclosed his rank yet he thinks he has the authority to give tips to imm/rad players.
He makes similar videos on fortnite i think hes trying to branch out from fort its likely hes not high ranked and his main channel is Marentm atleast this is my theory cuz ive compared the videos and theyre identical just the content is diferent.
@@blackpumpkin4486 Yes exactly that, thats where my issue lies. If this guy, who won't even disclose his rank, feels that he has the authority to give tips to players in asc-radiant even, it doesn't make any sense. Just because he plays fortnite doesn't mean he should feel as though the same level of knowledge carries over to the ranks. I looked into some of the tips he was giving for higher ranks in some of his previous videos, and i realized those are all pretty common stuff. Its kind of odd to me hes given a platform when his peak could literally be gold or bronze even.
i feel like my mental aspect of valorant is way higher than where i am right now, but my aim is clearly holding me back. i always feel like the smartest player in the lobby, but when it comes to actually winning gun fights, i'm inconsistent. this could be because i play on a laptop with 80 fps but i still think i could do way better. currently i'm on the cusp of silver but i peaked silver 3 90 rr last act.
The only thing that i can say that i am good at is being a good teammate, never being an asshole and hyping up the others when they do good always goes a long way
I dont know how to play aggressive, i just can't. I usually play a supportive role and avoid taking fights most of the time, so im almost always a bottom fragger, but with the least number of deaths. Im used to this playstyle, but I want to change myself cause its not right. But if i try to play aggressive, i just die instantly, so i honestly dont know what to do. Heh, the 2 people I play best with are my friend, who is at plat and can't play rank with me since I'm in iron and this one guy who repeatedly gets chat banned because he flames people too much. Rank doesn't matter to me I just want to be a better player overall
i actually literally am better than my rank im a plat 1 player and ive been the match or team mvp around 15 games in a row guess how many games ive won? like 6 and i deranked from plat 3 to plat 1 whilist being a duelist with like 8 first blood like my last game rn i was a sage bc i had to fill 29/11/8 and 7 first bloods bc my other duelists never entried we lost
I loose 2000 packets per game is that bad?
Just played a comp lost 11-13 I got 30 kills all my teammates got under 10 kills
