Go pro instructions are actually some of the worst instruction I’ve ever seen. Kinda mind blowing.
Fr! Please show me how to assemble this thing without a bunch of quick jump cuts. What do all these different accessories do? How do I toggle this thing? 😩

I am glad you guys make these videos. I dislike when someone can't figure it out and claims the products dont work.
now you guys need to develop a way that doesn't need hex-nut retro-fit reinforcing to stay in its place.
I can't tell you how many of these I've lost just by placing the thread through the fingers and then the dome nut pops out.
also 1:20 you'll need to wet the underside of the suction cup for maximum adhesion, or you can lose them, ask me how I know.
is the underside the middle of the cup?
What’s the safe temperature range of the suction cup?
Any tips on hanging upside down. I’m trying to us in my music studio and it keeps falling off. It’s suctioned onto laminate. Barely lasts 5mins,
If it can hold onto a car driving it should be able to do this. Or is it not designed for upside down?
I have this accessory and it works pretty well, although I have not used it in the extreme examples shown here
Those that have their doubts should try one. the suction is truly impressive. I left mine attached to the outside of my house for days in rain and it never failed. Make sure the surface is clean first of course!
have you tried it on a car and driven on a bumpy road? does it hold?
@@pricepointstories I've driven at speed multiple times on semi bumpy roads and it has never come off so far. I do take the precaution of cleaning hte surface first and always use a tether just in case

I would be afraid that it would suddenly fall off while driving a car 😳🤷♂
I have already tested it outside of the car at 190 km/h and all it’s 👌🏻
@@ZARICKH if you lose the thing, the gopro is history, lost. a small mistake in mounting and it comes loose, maybe not immediately but suddenly and then the camera is gone😂
Just use a tether with the mount so that if the suction fails, the camera and mount will just dangle from a cable / cord that’s mechanically fixed to the car (rather than falling completely off the car and getting damaged / lost)

@@Daweisstebescheid I suppose it depends on where the camera is mounted on the car, but I do this often and have never had an issue

You did everything except putting it on Windshield. Will it break the windshield if we mount it and remove time to time?

can you use this under water in a pool? on the floor or wall
I have the suction mount but when i mount it on the side glass window of my car, it makes the gopro vertical. What intermediate device have you used to make it horizontal while mounting on the side window of your car?
Hi, this is a feature we call "Orientation Lock". You can find this setting by swiping down on the back touch screen and selecting "Orientation Lock" on the dashboard!
is it compatible with DJI Osmo action 4?

The suction works great, and if you use it with a tether, you don’t need to worry about losing or damaging your camera if the suction fails. Slightly surprised they didn’t include that tip in the video

There was a magnetic one too which was supposed to be fitted to metallic exteriors of a car. Is that discontinued now?
GoPro has never offered a magnetic based ones designed to hold to a moving car. They offer a magnetic clip but it is very weak and struggles with more than a GoPro alone on a non-moving metallic surface. There are several 3rd party options with powerful magnets meant for vehicles you can look for.

No matter what, I still highly recommend a wire safety tether!
Find it hard to believe there’s no way to articulate this mount left or right, the camera can only face straight. For example, when mounting on the side cockpit window the camera can only point straight ahead, there’s no attachment that allows it to be twisted left or right. Had to buy a whole other suction mount with an articulating arm.
