That's the Mk.2 Vectra touring car driven by Akira Iida. HKS did have the Mk.1 Vectra raced in 1994 JTCC season, driven by a BTCC veteran, Anthony Reid. And I also see the Ray Mallock Limited (RML) nameplate on the firewall of that Mk.2 Vectra. I'm sure that RML did supplied these Vectras to HKS.

And that's the end of what you see at (12:00) 2018 - HKS 'TRB-03' GT86 time attack car at (9:25). 2019 - HKS 'TRB-04' Suzuki Swift time attack car at (10:34). I remembered seeing the car at TAS 2019 with the Evo motor and 4WD drivetrain still in it.

As someone who watched BTCC during the SuperTouring era of the late '90s it was also cool to see their RML-built Vectra (those were raced in the UK as a Vauxhall). That was an incredible, big-budget era for tin-tops. After doing Vectras, RML's Nissan Primera P11 had an NA SR20DE that produced about 320hp, while elsewhere there was a Ford Mondeo by Prodrive where the 2.0 V6 was mounted so low that the driveshafts ran through the Vee of the engine. They might be FWD sedans but they're about as specialised underneath as modern GT3 cars. Just with less aero and horsepower.
I got to visit RML while they were building the Juke GTR's. Was great to talk to the guys who were involved in btcc, some of the tricks they did were amazing to 'bend' the rules- the Cavalier (model before the Vectra) had multiple boot floor skins sandwiched together for balance, as ballast wasn't allowed. I'd always wondered if the HKS car was just an old BTCC car, the plaque in the engine bay was cool to see!
The ct230r before natural gas was dry carbon body w/ red livery which set & held the Tsukuba overall lap record at 53.XX for a long time and before that it was called the TRB002 "Tsukuba Record Breaker" & was unpainted full dry carbon body and held the overall record for quite some time at 54.XX eventually an on track component failure led to NOB crashing thus the change to the red ct230r that's chassis has some major history
