The guy is right! IIT --> US --> Senior Manager IIT --> India --> Startup --> Put in the work --> Millions --> Billions. If you use words like, easy life, easy wife and other such words --> move to the US ASAP :)
I moved to the US 40 years ago and did quite well, still live in the US happily retired. However over the past decade the opportunities are better in India I can tell - not just IT but all aspects and industries. In the US, services are more streamlined but India is making great improvemenst in that respect as well. For energetic youngsters I'd say India is better. The only and biggest problem is the endemic corruption at all levels (including people who take money to vote!).
Mumbai has a major garbage issue. The BMC is the least bothered about keeping the roads and footpaths clean and free of encroachments. Plus we have to pay crazy amounts to rent and own a flat. It's beyond ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if he moves out of the city if not the country.
Totally agree with him eventhough you may earn 6lakhs you will have to move through substandard facilities guess ppl working in government do not know about good living standards. ...
Me too remember my iit kgp days.. So beautiful.. But not after marriage everything is gone.. I m like typical homemaker.. One way good but i miss my life before
Vishal is quite perky in this episode. Also, I believe the tenant today will benefit from living in Airoli for a township feeling, connectivity is good, quality of life in terms of roads, schools, greenary, etc. and the space,is quite something to look at. In fact, Sunteck Signia Oceans are here,Dmart is also nearby. Airoli is the best in terms of everything.
Many, Many sensible IITians live in India and r proud to be contributing to Indian Economy. Salute to them, they all r doing well and parents Happy. See Urban Clap now Urban Company, it was a start up ten years ago, now flourishing, many many such, start ups r by IITians. We r proud of them just as our Armed forces.
real diffrence in India and abroad he pointed sub standard infra , even you are earning good one has to face garbage and stinky drainage smell, no footpaths or street lights or safety at night. He is preferred to stay near IIT campus hence work life balance. If he he shift to any other place life will not be same. And appreciate his national pride.
it's a little difficult for Vishal to gauge the scenario of working in IIT Bombay campus as well as kind of staying in the campus itself. 🙂 IIT Powai campus is one of the most sought after place when compared to other IITs (ofcourse it is debatable), but facilities inside IIT Bombay is top notch. The students and alumni can totally understand this. Also this guy at present might be boot strapped with the startup as of now and in max 2 years he would be relocating to one of the most posh localities.🙂
Nice. He is right money is no more a major draw to shift abroad unlike pre-COVID. Infact compared to EU/APAC, you can actually make more money in India. Only US is better by small margin but QoL indeed is way better abroad. Good episode. Nice sorted guy 👍
all the deshbhakts in the comments lol, Vishal just pointed to a FACT that most people from iit do leave India and wanted to understand what made him stay , why is everyone getting so upset over it
Totally..more than Brain Drain...Hyper nationalistic Brain Rot is the current trend 😂 How TF do we improve without acknowledging our flaws...no problem in India..sab changga si...we are #1😅 and these same people become extremely proud when an Indian becomes a CEO of top tech US companies or becomes a political leader in some other country 😂
@@tulikayadav5782 Show is about showing why tenant is staying on rent in particular location and what are his future plans .His professional choices are none of his business beside asking what he is doing .why he is giving his opinion. That's the problem .
Good flat, great episode! More of such episodes, please, covering budget & mid range. Vishal, you may also consider asking questions about water supply, proximity to public transport, business hubs & schools.
Fulfilling content. In light of the global crisis, rising inflation, and economic instability caused by inadequate governance, digital assets can serve as a viable path to achieving financial independence.

May be yes.
Confirmation bias in that second option. You are overestimating the number that became millionaires from it. Hard work is small part of it
Deam on for billions.

what's the point of this show?
To make people who want to come to Mumbai aware of what to expect while looking for place to stay.

Thank you IITian for staying back in India.

What he said can be related interms of locales of powai
आपको विदेश जाना चाहिए था आप वहां कोई स्टार्टअप शुरू कर देते,यहां मौके कम हैं और अगर आप कमा भी लोगे तो रहने का स्तर महा घटिया है.
Great guy!
