Great playing! I just got and RG7421 BK as well and I'm running a Line 6 Spider IV 75W. What tone settings do you use? I play a lot of Epica as well and your tone is awesome!
My friend who lent me this guitar also got a Spider IV :) About the tone, I didn't make something special, just a bit more treble as I usually do because its on 7 strings. I took the mesa rectifier plugin and set it like : bass : 6 mid : 4 treble : 7 gain : 7 presence : 7 out of 10

The video is quite old so I'm not sure about that but I think I worked a lot on the eq to get a tone that I like + is clearly different from the guitars on the album. The point is to actually hear me playing instead of just trying to get the same tone as epica (good luck) and actually can't hear it's a cover. If that can help you :)
Indeed, at first I thought that the Epica's song on the "background" was too loud, although I noticed that we can listen to your playing as well. Great job and thank you again!
