Hey Dean I am having an issue with my e90 radio. It doesn’t turn on and few days ago was saying “Hi Temp”. The cd still works, radio buttons light up and other sounds like seatbelt still chime. I tried doing this but the number 612 is not there for me. I have the regular hifi sound system and non I-drive (no gps). I have these two errors
A554: Instrument Cluster No Message (Telephone) and
A731: Supply Terminal 30g-f

Hi Dean i have a 2016 X3 F25 with Connectdrive, SOS failure light is displayed, i have no outgoing Mic although i can hear incoming calls & my sat navigation guidence is not working, Can this be reset or is it a bmw dealer job ?

Thanks! This got rid of the SOS error after weeks of searching. I still have issues with the Aux not working and do see that it is switched on in CIC. Afraid it might be the head unit at this point. Radio and CD work just fine.

So my issue is SOS Error, aux volume stuck on 0 and Bluetooth keeps loading. It's e91 2009 fl, vin has S6FL and few more S6 related options. Most reasonable thing for me is there to just remove 612 from VO from all modules CAS, FRM and NFRM am i right? I will have AUX and Bluetooth working again?
So here is the major problem. All questions related to how to do things are not answered and asking what program to use. However, if you compliment his video then you get a reply.

Yeah mate that’s just around town on highway it’s usually around 31mpg
I got 36 on my last highway trip
If it’s 328i it would do mine is punching 258BHP with the three stage manifold so I don’t expect great MPG but for this engine it’s incredible it can even pull of over 30mpg

I just got a new-to-me 2010 E60 535i with CCC and there are three things that are wrong with my system… the SOS is not working, the Bluetooth won’t populate on my phone during pairing, and AUX doesn’t do anything… I have AUX on my screen but when I click on it, nothing happens… are these all related and how can I fix them? Hi I have BMW 320D 2018 M sport saloon, I have SOS failure on instrument cluster. I looked up online and found if you replace battery in telematic this should fix the issue so I did replace the battery but SOS error came back. I took my car to BMW approved garage and they said after battery replacement it require recalibration to get ride of this error. After recalibration SOS error didn’t clear. They told me that you need a new recalibration unit to fix this issue which comes from Germany and will cost over £600 + labour etc. But if this unit is faulty then how come I am able to make SOS call and able to read live information from my car on MyBMW app on my IPhone? Can you please advise on this?

@@gordo420 i have the same problem. i put a double din radio in and it sounds great, however now i have an sos code because the loop for the MOST system is not complete. All i want is the interface and the program to read a bmw code so i can make the adjustments

Hi , can you still remove sos completely remotely? My f10 keeps making sos calls when the ecu's wake up, like if you get-out out the car and then back and restart it.
Did you find a solution to make yours quit calling sos. I can’t even hook the battery up without it calling. 2012 335i f30.
I had the problem on my X1 F48 2017 model. Assume it’s software have bugs.
Tested to call SOS after shows SOS system failure message, get through perfectly, which proves the system NOT failure. Used voice control coincidentally last week, the fault message disappeared dramatically, and didn’t back till today.
I rarely use voice control before, have tried to disconnect blue tooth device and reconnect from other youtube video, didn’t work well.
Can’t say it’s the solution, but cost nothing and worth a try.
Another good video m8, on the subject of the SOS button with out the subscription what dose the button do? will it still call 999 in the uk if pressed? or is there a way to program it to use a bluetooth conected phone
No mate it uses a bluetooth phone in the cradle regardless if you don’t have the phone there it’s useless and won’t do nothing
I had the problem with the SOS System Failure light always on etc....on a BMW X3 (2015) after much pissing about for days trying to sort it out etc...then on close inspection i noticed the Battery plug was not fully pushed in to the Box...now the SOS System failure light has gone out!....'happy days'!

Hi great video!!! But I do have a couple of questions as I don’t have the standard idrive system. I have a droid aftermarket screen/system fitted to my 530i e60 and have this sos error code. As soon as this malfunction popped up on the cluster the screen cut out and now won’t even power up. If i take it to the garage to get them to reprogram it as shown in this video will my bluetooth still work? Am i correct in saying this will only disable the bmw assist function? Sorry it may seem like a stupid question but I am clueless😂

Question: I have e70 4.8i 2009 that was spec for Mexico so Km and liters on dash board (speedometer tach) - las 7of vin L097189. So I want to make it legal in US and to do so I need a miles gallons dash board (speedometer and tach). So I found an e70 in junkyard but it is 3.0 - last 7of con LY82294.
Is this a plug and play type thing or does it need to be reconfigure? If so what are the suggestions to do this in US?
No my friend you cannot just switch it out the mileage follows the previous car if you put that in your car you will have tamper dot and ALOT of lights on your dash which cannot be cleared you need the mileage cleared on the new cluster from the previous car before you do this

How do you remove the malfunction from a 440i GC?
I own a 2017 bmw 330i Xdrive. My sound and chimes all work on my car but sometimes the SOS error pops up and the goes away. It can be there for a few mins then it goes away. It can go days to weeks and then pops up. Any suggestions on how to fix And remove this error?

Dr. BMW I have an issue with my car stalling at any speed I drive ! I replace Vanos solenoids crank sensor, fuel pump send out the DME to get service new battery new serpentine belt and idler pulleys spark plugs and the issue continues the vehicle is 2006 750i 4.8 Need advice from the doctor himself
Valvetronic motors are failing mate
Makes sense reason is before changing the Vanos solenoids you hear valves rattling when revving engine on Park
On the exhaust side was giving me problems replace 3 Vanos Solenoid on that side.
when driving the car I could hear the valves rattling and the engine lose power and transmission shifts rapidly making the car difficult to keep up with traffic when and again I accelerate hearing valves rattling in the engine compartment. releasing accelerator enough to keep with traffic it's okay but when I release accelerator (at 45 miles) the car wants to slow down and down shift quick

I have a 2011 Z4 (E89) and got the No SOS error message after installing an aftermarket Android stereo, hence breaking the MOST chain by removing the BMW Professional radio. My car doesn't have $612. In a leap of faith I deleted option $639 (Preparation F Mobile Phone Cpl. USA/CDN) from all three modules. Lo and behold, the error disappeared. Do at your own risk.

What’s the name of this program?
My SOS Malfunction was caused by a failing satellite radio module in the back of the car, the speakers were also popping/cracking when the car wasn't even turned on. It was very weird, I thought I had a blown speaker at first. Apparently the failing satellite radio module is quite common in the 2008 bmw 328i. I fixed it with a fiber optic loop.
The fibre optic loop is only temporary and WILL fail again needing to properly code it out to stop it and the light I warn you of that
@@BMWDoctor I don't see why it would fail again since the module is now being bypassed, but you know more about the cars than me lol. I'm not so worried about the SOS malfunction light, but the popping in the speakers was really getting to me. People on the forums were saying it was the amp, but I figured out that wasn't the problem. I'm glad I got it figured out though. The SOS light and the weird loud popping/cracking in the speakers are now both gone after I bypassed the satellite radio module.

Just got this code on my 2016 X1. Coincidentally, BMW will be discontinuing the SOS service due to the phase out of 3G cellular in the USA. So I am hoping this error display is a fluke and may go away. I don't want to pay the dealer to fix it, since it won't be supported in 2022 forward.
Hope to find a reasonable fix, maybe coding, stull researching.
I can put a small sticker over the screen of the lower right dashboard display. Sounds like this will cost time and money at BMW .

I have all the tools loaded on a laptop with a proper cable. Have used it for coding other things but for this I am stumped on how to do this on a E70 CIC version with aftermarket Android Display by AVIN. worked flawless but all of a sudden, SOS failure showed up and does not allow bluetooth or AUX to work. I have erased the code and it will work temporarily and then the error pops back up. I tried the loop test on the MOST connection to TCU and error still popped up so I just want to get rid of SOS completely. I will gladly Venmo or PayPal you funds to remotely code this out of my vehicle. Would you be willing to help?

so i drove the car for about 2 hours and after that the car did not want to drive over 2000 rpm and i get no lights that are lit or no error codes. restarts the car and is the same. have checked egr and it looks a bit dirty but not so much. tested taking out the contact to the map sensor and then i can rev the car as much as i want but when i drive it still does not go above 2000 rpm. have you got any ideas@@BMWDoctor
Inline fuel pump under the plastic cover on the passenger side find it and put a new one in
