    Another great tutorial. Maybe a smaller leaf lily to replace the failing plant on the right? It would need constant control of leaves and stem length but would add different texture.
    Maybe another betta ? Or golden neocaradina shrimp for livestock? The green rasbora color might fade out, to the eye, under those lights. Keep up the phenomenal work. I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for all you do.

    Great job man. I have been planning to do an all red tank. I got a whole collection of red plants that I can use...even the bacopa. Just wanted to remind you about the crypt...they almost always melt and then grow back with new leaves. So I wouldn't be removing the melted ones. Just wait. But great job bro. Love your channel. Honest and full of info.

    Really cool love the ASMR joke.Great video, love how you told us about your lighting.
    Pink Crypts are like 2 year olds, they are pretty fuzzy. Once they root and like their area though they do really well. But if you move them even in the same tank they hate it. They are hardier once they mature though so the biggest tip I got was once they have a runner go out and sprout a plant, wait until it fully matures to them separate and transplant. I started with one and now have 5 which I all transferred to a bigger tank. All but one survived, well the 5th is still in question, it looks like it might make a comeback.

    I was just talking to my sister in law last night about how it would be a nice idea if I made a Fall style tank. A lot of these plants would look really good in that theme. Your tank turned out beautiful. When I was watching your video I was thinking some vibrant color shrimp like some Orange Sunkist Shrimp, Yellow Lazer shrimp, red cherry shrimp or I saw a blue velvety cherry shrimp and that would also look amazing in the tank :)

  • @marlejson9532
    @marlejson9532 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I am already excited to see how this tank develops! In case you need to change out a plant, maybe for „Proserpinaca Palustris” or
    „Myriophyllum Tuberculatum”? They both develop really nice redish-orangey colours.
    For fish I honestly don’t have an idea what to suggest… a pair of dwarf gouramis perhaps? They are really nice but I don’t know if they suit this scape. Either way, I am looking forward for the next update!

  • @mattwells4317

    All red is a fun concept! Funny enough I got some Bacopa for my first ever aquascape (now about 2 months old). Didn't know it was rare! They've turned a little bit purple but not like the pic you showed from 2hraquarist. Hopefully I can get them there eventually! My plants are kind of struggling a bit so at this point though. If I had more experience they'd prob be a lot more purple by this point. Amazing how much your plants grew in just 2 weeks compared to what I've experienced with mine. Nice work!

    100% go with the kubotai rasbora. I immediately thought of them as well when you mentioned stocking. Maybe some snowball neocardinia shrimp as well. I think the white shrimp and neon green Rasboras would be beautiful contrast against the red plants.

  • @philcarlino6942
    @philcarlino6942 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video. Rotala macrandra is a nice red plant with round leaves that might look very nice. Crypt tropica bronze or red could also be nice midground plants for the scape. Myriophyllum tuberculutum red is a nice red plant with needle like leaves that looks like a feather duster that is different enough from H'ra to look distinct. There's rotala orange juice if you want something more orange than red. And there is also blyxa japonica which gets red tips under high lighting that you have. That could be nice to offset the very vibrant colors you have. As for fish, I think a white or silver fish would look nice. Something understated that will add rather than detract from the appearance of the aquarium. The bloodfin tetra (aphyocharax anistitsi), the panda tetra (aphyocharax nattereri), the rummynose tetra (hemigrammus bleheri) and the reed tetra (hyphessobrycon elachys) are all beautiful fish that I think could stand out. Of course there are also rasboras which would be nice, too. The emerald eye rasbora (brevibora dorsioscellata) and even the standard rasbora heteramorpha would still shine through all the red. If the tank was bigger and you wanted a real pop off the red, green tiger barbs would flash. Ok, I've rambled enough. I wish you look and success with whatever you go with. Enjoy!

    Well done.
    Glandulosa is a very deep purple once it matures, and quite a stunning plant if you can get it to grow, so perhaps if you can be patient with it? Even the emersed-grown ones have amazing hues.
    Suggestions: Ludwigia sp. 'Mini Super Red', Limnophila hippuridoides, Limnophila belem, Ludwigia brevipes, Ludwigia ovalis 'Pink', Ludwigia inclinata 'Red', Hygrophila polysperma 'Sunset'/'Rosanervig', Cabomba furcata/piauhyensis, Nesaea crassicaulis, Rotala sp. 'Blood Red', Rotala sp. 'Orange Juice', Rotala sp. 'Ceylon'/'Pink', Rotala sp. 'Vietnam', Rotala sp. 'Colorata', and Phyllantus fluitans.
    Rasbora kubotai might be nice, along with Neocaridina davidi 'Green Jade'. Maybe some whites will pop in all that red too like albino neon tetra, golden white cloud mountain minnow, or platinum medaka.

  • @syameel666

    Amazing scape for a Red Only plants, since you have a purple bacopa just to inject more colors I would suggest Ludwigia Senegalensis. Once fully submerged it will give a popping orange / reddish color which will be interesting in this scape.
    Very eager to see the fully grown update later on 🙌🏽
    P/S: Crypt Flamingo is quite expensive in Malaysia maybe will give it a try in the near future 😅

      Just so you know, the only place your gonna find the Singapore variant in TC is in the US, and it's hobbyist made. Not in distribution yet. Araguaia is where the one you have came from I believe. It's much harder to get a nice shade of purple. Possible, but it likely won't be as nice as Singapore variant

    Your crypts should come back in a few weeks, melt doesn't mean it's dead or dying. They're just in shock and pull their nutrients back from their leaves, once they adjust to your tank they should grow back very nicely. I've had other species of crypts do this, in most cases it took about 1 month before they grew back but they came back fierce.

    • @ianbrown9578
      @ianbrown9578 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I agree. My crypts had emersed (out of water) leaves and they all melted. I chose not to trim the leaves as I believe the plant consumes those leaves to help it create the new immersed (under water) leaves. I mean to say that when it is obvious that the leaf is dead by all means trim it. But if it still has some green in it leave it. Even if it melts right back to nothing, let it be, it will most likely shoot back up later.
      Just a suggestion, you do what makes you happy! :-)

    • @NeoHedge1
      @NeoHedge1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ianbrown9578 I've had red crypts do this from a tissue culture, they melted their leaves down to nothing, you couldn't even tell anything was planted there. About a month later they started to sprout back out and exploded with new growth. The pink flamingo crypts I got almost 2 months ago were similar having almost all emersed grown leaves. They didn't melt rapidly, rather they waited to grow at least 2 new submerged leaves before pulling all nutrients back into themselves from the old leaves. They look like a completely different plant now with no green at all.

    • @ianbrown9578
      @ianbrown9578 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NeoHedge1 I suppose if you were very sensitive about melting crypts in your new aquascape perhaps 2-3 months beforehand get the crypts going underwater in a spare tank so that hopefully after they convert you can select the good ones and transplant them into your new aquascape. That said I have also read, but have no personal experience, that sometimes even converted crypts melt back!

    Nice growth of the plants! Did you use any fertilizer or this was a result from soil only?

    Very nice scape, good job. I just want to say that it doesn't look like Bacopa salzmanii SG variety. You probably got the regular variety or some other Bacopa.

    Green rasbora would be awesome and you could still get some jade or blue shrimp I think... Not 100% on that

    I think I read somewhere that the best way to establish flamingo is with an actual potted plant.
