Howdy Sir. You are the key source for what I pick when it comes to buying an MD. Your videos are invaluable to me, and I wanted to come on here and thank you! I now rent MDs and resale older ones, or cheaper entry level MD's as well, and again, it's because I reference your videos on what MD's to buy, resale and to recommend to my customers needing to rent a MD for a specific task, like lost rings in sand, water, snow...lost keys...all manner of reasons, and I've not had one unhappy customer yet. So THANK YOU AGAIN!
But I'm also wondering if you've ever tested a Nokta FORS MD before? I've just bought a Nokta FORS Relic MD, and it looks to have a longer learning curve then I'm used to. Would love to watch a video on that if you ever had the chance!
    CHEERS!
    Graham

I enjoy your videos and as I was watching them, I kept thinking that your voice sounds so familiar and I could not place it. Then I realized, you sound like Jesse Ventura and I do not mean that in a bad way, just that you sound like him with the tone of your voice and the sight accent..
anyway, thanks for all the helpful videos!!

Cool video. I have a Coinmaster Classic 2 I bought new in 1990 and still have. I take it out every now and then.

Are the coils interchangeable, or is it wired directly to the box?

Great video...I'm surprised this metal detector beat out the ace 350. I used one for a short period time around cellar holes and it did pretty good

I like watching your videos how come you don't make detecting videos anymore?

I watch your videos as often as I can. I really like that you're testing older detectors along with newer ones. I love the older detectors. I use a whites 5000D series 2 at present , with pretty good results. Much prefer the analog detectors , but , thanks to you I'm considering something newer. Any suggestions? I much prefer analog , but everything's going digital. Such a shame. Anyway , great videos.

Find a used Tesoro Vaquero. It's about as good as it gets in my eyes

You might as well do in air tests as your test bed which isn't a test bed. You should bury low value high conductivity targets and samples of junk like bottle tops, nails, can fragments etc in the ground itself to replicate authentic conditions.

Good test.... I just wish you would show more about the settings you used. I inherited one from my Pa but being a "newbie" not sure how to best set up the controls to detect treasures rather than junk. Also if I need to ground balance it first? Thanks for the info in this one. Searching now to see more on this detector.

I to have a classic 3. I've had it bout a year. I run my settings the mark below ur ring range on discriminate , and sensitivity at the three of us clock position. This machine CAN be ground balanced. On the bottom of the housing u should have a white plastic plug. Remove it , and inside u should see a trimmer for ur ground balance. Turn machine on , and have it in all metal , and with a small screwdriver turn trimmer right or left till u get a nice steady tone when u lower ur coil to the ground. It's easier than it sounds. And u can Google manuals for ur classic also. Hope that helps a bit. I've found many good things with my classic. Good luck to u

Hello! I am going to buy one, I want to know how it behaves with the thin gold chains. equal to the coil, in that recent metal can be compared? thanks and congratulations for your videos . ;-)

I no longer have it so can't test it. But am quite sure it would hit a 8 inch small gold chain in all metal

Hello scannerguy1968. Even a $500 + Tesoro Tejon will pick up those stupid bottlecaps fooling it into sounding off on them like they were quarters......

+Prairie G haven't had the pleasure of running a Tejon yet but do know my vaq does a pretty good job of missing the caps at a drive in I hunt. There's probably 50 caps every 10 feet. So far the Vaq has been the best for blocking them.
