- Join us as we explore the five triangle congruence theorems (SSS postulate, SAS postulate, ASA postulate, AAS postulate, and HL postulate). By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify each theorem and understand which scenarios they can be applied in. (hypotenuse leg, angle angle side, angle side angle, side angle side, side side side)
Oh yeah, and you'll learn to avoid the donkey theorem :)

Fear can block success. I think we hate a subject when we don't understand it. When one understands a concept and practices it multiple times on paper, and then rests a while and comes back to it a while later, the brain goes is switching from active mode into diffuse mode and back to active mode, which helps the brain to memorize information. I used to hate plane geometry and algebra because I didn't understand it. So I started thinking positively and finding solutions (like taking "How to Learn" classes), and it has really helped me. I know you can do it too with God's help!

It's **taught** but I totally agree. My teacher simply has like notes and videos very unorganized and uninformative so I always have to resort to youtube because everything is explained better in such a short span of time.

Thank you for making a video that SHOWS the triangle congruence theorems so well. I will be showing this to my class every year from now on as an introduction to the congruence theorems. I especially like your ASS explanation, wonderfully done. I do have a questions however, at the very end of the video you mentioned you drew the second triangle as an ACUTE triangle showing that the two triangles are not congruent, but I think you meant to say OBTUSE?
I love these videos theses are awesome and they mean a lot in helping me with my math homework I would like to request more of these kinds of videos for the future generation

If there is SSS, shouldn't there be AAA too? If there are 3 angles (lets say 54°, 61°, and 65°) then you know that the sides are the same too, right?

You can draw two 60°-60°-60° triangles with sides 1 and 2. They will not be congruent
