Some technical runway incursions as aircraft crossed the holding points before clearance was given and probably vacated a couple of times before the clearance was even read back. *Sometimes a controller will talk slow if they are stalling for time but want to get a clearance/instruction out. Some 'line up behind' would be useful. Needs ICAO 'caution vortex wake' for those departures (for UK timings for departures and distances (speed control for distances) for arrivals). But guess what... SUPER AMAZING WORK!!! REALLY IMPRESSIVE!

Former Flight Service Specialist from Canada and Private and Glider License holder here. I was going to state the same about the aircraft moving before the clearance. Small detail but brings a lot to immersion. And good to know the @beyondatc team knows about the issue.
Doubt we’ll see it this year. Maybe toward the ass end of 2024 when MSFS 2024 comes out. Giving what im seeing in their discord server it’s a long process.

It looks really good!! I really want to practice my Radio work without having to use Vatsim as they do not cover the airfields I fly in and out of!! So it would be really nice once this does. Do you know if this will cover all airfields? For example, I remember an airfield in the UK called Dunkeswell, although it has a Radio IRL it doesn't have it in MSFS, it's just Exeter instead, so it's inaccurate. Thanks. @mr.futurestrader2115
Wow Captain, this is going to be absolutely amazing when it's all done, hell it already is now! Can't wait to see arriving and departing traffic working at the same time, that's when the backups really start to happen. Seems like arrival traffic spacing/sequencing will be the next great challenge especially during the push times at major hubs. Keep up the great work, we all appreciate it very much. This will be a game changer like no other.

Truly admirable! My only critic will be to at least give the option to slow down the whole process. I feel like sometimes they’re too fast. I mean for example the time to do the flight controls checks etc.
Agree, hoping there is an option to slow down the push and start sequence. There has never been an AI addon that does this process in a realistic way that simulates something close to the time it takes planes to complete these procedures.
@@athr_blu Yeah, this is amazing work and I think it would be a mistake to get bogged down, with quickly diminishing returns in getting every detail correct, especially at this stage. (Though I’d note this is exactly the job a traffic injector is supposed to do; just a very low priority one.)
Well, speedbird and all.other traffic really did not pushback to the taxiway like they should have. They all.pushback to the first line, which would run them right into the tails of all other parked aircraft. I am sure they will get that worked out.

Amazing. I think something that could be added is the "heavy" and "super" categories. Also, if tower could give wake turbulance warnings/ spacing thatd be even better

Yeah this is a known issue - the comm logic and the comm voices are two different systems. We just have to make one wait for the other, it's easy to do, just something I hadn't finished with yet. Thanks for the feedback!
You are to be commended for taking on what appears to me to be an impossible task, given the vagaries of Asobo updates, the myriad possibilities or pilot and ATC errors, the rapid changes occurring in tech and AI ... not to mention the carnivorous nature of some simmers who will be on you like wolves on an injured elk if some simple error creeps in. Congratulations and good luck for the rest of the development. I hope it is development limitations and/or bugs but I noticed some abnormalities I would like to highlight here. First, there are no separations between aircrafts at departure which is very unrealistic to see a Medium taking off 30 seconds behind a Super. Second, I saw many times AI aircrafts starting to roll before the ATC instructions were given (they started to roll at the begining of the message without waiting for the instruction to be fully given).
This is ground breaking!!!! Truly another great mile stone in flight simulation!!! I can't comprehend what it must take to get to this point in development!!! Will I have to invest in a new computer for this?????? I only hope that you will be able get rid of the "dreaded go around" syndrome!!! Please say you will give us GA traffic!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can do all of this you will deserve any amount of money you ask for!!!! Lol you will make $$MILLIONS$$!!!! Please sim genie take all my 401k!!!!!!!❤👍👍👍❤
Absolutely amazing. Thanks to the FSR3 frame generation mod for nVidia cards I'm finally able to use AI with great performance, but the AI communication and handling of the aircraft is really showing it's ugly parts with one female voice for all parties during a two hour flight without any variety and passenger planes flying on treetop level ... but this will change everything, amazing! And the performance will be even better too?! Love the natural hesitations and "uhms" and "ahs" and the regional accents. Makes it feel real to the max!
This is what every sim pilot has been waiting for, myself included! We all know this isn't the completely polished version. And the fact that it isn't and it's THIS good....I cant wait to see the released product!!! The only critique I have is that some of the voices sound.....aggresive? I don't know if that's the way to explain it. I know from experience at work that ATCs, and most pilots, generally sound a bit more calm than what I'm hearing from the sim. There's a lot of instruction that comes off as your Dad telling you to do something for the 3rd time. I don't know if I'm the only one hearing this or not. Honestly though, it's a nitpicky critique because everything else is just so mindblowing!! Excellent work guys!
Looking great so far. A few niggles I noticed (you may be working on these of course): 1) United 737 started very far back from the stand and the A380 went through it. 2) Sometimes the planes started doing things (like crossing a runway or taking off) a little bit before they had clearance. 3) The movement of the planes is a bit "toy like" at the moment. Hopefully you can smooth it out and make them seem a bit more "heavy". 4) It would be nice to see some do rolling take-offs and not always stop on the runway. 5) Obviously it would be nice to see arrivals, but I'm sure that's coming next.
Love the addon! One small suggestion for takeoffs: Tower should tell the departing aircraft to "Contact Departure" after they are clear of the airport.

Even when ATC clears you, until you fully read back, you can't cross it. So basically if ATC starts to clear you through and your nose gear crossed that hold short line without you reading back until the last word - it's an excursion. 2 Also in US, when they clear you for takeoff, they don't say anything like "RNAV to..." That is already ack-ed in the IFR clearance. They only say wind and cleared for takeoff, or if its vectored departure they add heading to that.. 3. When aircraft are calling for taxi they don't say anything like " request taxi to runway 28L", it's up to ATC what runway they will give. Initial ground call would be something like: San Francisco ground, Southwest 456 at ....(where) with A (weather info), ready taxi for departure. 3. At big airports like that Ground doesn't handle pushbacks. Ground only handles moving areas, pushback and ramp are handled by Ramp Control and or Metering frequencies.
Great stuff! It would be another great immersion to implement the proper wake turbulence spacings. Perfect for allowing AI to cross some arrivals after a Heavy or Super departs.

Can't wait to play with this! Question: will we be able to use BeyondATC when playing multiplayer with a friend (a two ship flight) or flying shared cockpit? It seems like a great low-stress environment to get people used to flying with and talking to controllers in preparation for VATSIM.
Looks excellent. No I’m not sure about the hum in the background of the female ground controller. You typically hear that coming from the aircraft background transmission.
Amazing progress! I know this is a nitpick and there are more important things to work on, but at SFO (and other airports as well) you don't get the cleareance for push at on ground frequency (depending on parking spot.) Instead you get it on a Ramp frequency. In the case of terminal 1, it's 127.575. You contact ground at the predetermined reporting spot (e.g. San Francisco Ground, Speedbird XXX, Spot 1, ready to taxi). Obviously this is going to be too hard to implement at all airpots, but perhaps some sort of crowd sourced way to chhange the airport layouts/frequencies would eventually make it accurate for the world would be nice.
Looks fantastic! I am looking forward to use it as soon as it is released. I think the combination of traffic injection and ATC will make it pretty much a required add-on for MSFS. Let me know if you have any preorder or pre-buy program. 😀.
Really great work. 1000 thunbs up. In Europe the tower controller doesn't say that he is calling when giving a take off clearance. It would just sound like " united 59x wind 270@6 cleared for take off runway 28L." And then a short read back. Perhaps you will adjust it later on. However great work!
All the videos show airliners being used with Beyond ATC. I mainly fly GA aircraft and was wondering if Beyond ATC works well with GA aswell. Just coming back to flight sim after a long break and already fed up with the MSFS2020 ATC failing constantly.
Great job guys so far.. looking forward to using this product when it goes GA! I assume pushback tractors will be incorporated into the sim for realism? Also some inbound traffic would be good whilst aircraft are being instructed to hold at runway intersections. I assume all of this is work in progress. 👍
I am constantly amazed by the incredible progress your team is making. It is nothing short of breathtaking. I do have one or two questions though. Currently I am working my way to VATSim. Could BATC be used as tool to educate beginning VATSimmers to hone their skills and become more confident? I assume so but it always nice to know for sure. Second, I am currently flying around the world from country to country in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk fully VFR. Currently flying over Africa. Now regions like this are notorious for not having any ATC in the region active. Will BATC cater to the VFR pilots and also be available in remote regions?

It's a traffic injector, no need to go into every minute details I guess. The player will busy preparing for their own flight to notice these things

Not always, depends on the location. Many airports have procedures that you switch to it without instruction.

Question: will we be able to use BeyondATC when playing multiplayer with a friend (a two ship flight) or flying shared cockpit?
It seems like a great low-stress environment to get people used to flying with and talking to controllers in preparation for VATSIM.
Game changer for sure hope this will arrive sooner than later.

Looks excellent. No I’m not sure about the hum in the background of the female ground controller. You typically hear that coming from the aircraft background transmission.

Amazing progress! I know this is a nitpick and there are more important things to work on, but at SFO (and other airports as well) you don't get the cleareance for push at on ground frequency (depending on parking spot.)
Instead you get it on a Ramp frequency. In the case of terminal 1, it's 127.575. You contact ground at the predetermined reporting spot (e.g. San Francisco Ground, Speedbird XXX, Spot 1, ready to taxi).
Obviously this is going to be too hard to implement at all airpots, but perhaps some sort of crowd sourced way to chhange the airport layouts/frequencies would eventually make it accurate for the world would be nice.
Check Jeppesen Chart 10-9B for the ramp frequencies and parking spot numbers for KSFO
The developers has alluded exactly to crowd sourced information as a way of improving the local information and exceptions.
I could never imagine one day we would fly in that level of realism

Really great work. 1000 thunbs up. In Europe the tower controller doesn't say that he is calling when giving a take off clearance. It would just sound like " united 59x wind 270@6 cleared for take off runway 28L." And then a short read back. Perhaps you will adjust it later on. However great work!

All the videos show airliners being used with Beyond ATC.
I mainly fly GA aircraft and was wondering if Beyond ATC works well with GA aswell.
Just coming back to flight sim after a long break and already fed up with the MSFS2020 ATC failing constantly.

Great job guys so far.. looking forward to using this product when it goes GA! I assume pushback tractors will be incorporated into the sim for realism? Also some inbound traffic would be good whilst aircraft are being instructed to hold at runway intersections. I assume all of this is work in progress. 👍
I am constantly amazed by the incredible progress your team is making. It is nothing short of breathtaking.
I do have one or two questions though. Currently I am working my way to VATSim. Could BATC be used as tool to educate beginning VATSimmers to hone their skills and become more confident? I assume so but it always nice to know for sure.
Second, I am currently flying around the world from country to country in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk fully VFR. Currently flying over Africa. Now regions like this are notorious for not having any ATC in the region active. Will BATC cater to the VFR pilots and also be available in remote regions?
