There are hundreds of thousands of people who, for whatever reason, cannot fly for real. This is so awesome. It makes FS2020 well worth flying. The magic that BATC is creating is unbelieveable. I've already purchased BATC so I am sooooooooo excited to get back into my sim and fly regularly!
And for 99.99999999999% it's money, due to the insane costs of aircraft, fuel, maintenance, fees, liability, insurance. Increasing faster and far above CPI and inflation than even the out of control real estate market. Oh, to have lived and flown during the Golden Age of GA! I can't speak for how bad it's become in the US, but in Australia it has become an outright millionaires' playground. Even one of the recreational bug-smashers that I wouldn't take out for much more than around a circuit (*), will set you back $350,000! 🙄😭😲🤬 (*) Yes, I know that with the new regs, folks take their Jabirus and Topaz on x/c flights. Some even equip them for IFR. We all have different personal safety thresholds.
The traffic injector and related control is a fantastic addition by Beyond ATC! These guys clearly listen to their community. They've adjusted their pricing model to be more market-friendly and added this feature that many, including myself, were asking for to make virtual ATC truly immersive. I'm eagerly awaiting their integration with virtual ATC networks like VATSIM or IVAO-then it'll be perfect! Aside from the loudness of the voices and a couple of minor imperfections in the standard readback, I think it’s now totally worth it. Great job, Beyond ATC, and kudos for excellent product leadership!
You're the first to combine AI traffic and AI ATC, which is such an important step towards a complete flight simulator. And you executed it so well! The level of immersion is insane now.Thank you!
WOW, Just wanted to say what a fantastic job you have all done......I only fly in VR, and BATC has put the biggest smile on my face with the addition of the vr panel. Amazing what you have done and can't wait to get the traffic injector next....keep up the great work...
I did 4 test flights with the new Traffic and it works pretty well, the traffic tends to simulate the amount of traffic you would see IRL. Besides the very scripted responses from the ATC it was very enjoyable. I hope Asobo incorporates a similar ATC in 2024, they have said in the past that they are responsible for ATC and the community shouldn't have to buy an external program to do it for MSFS, and everything BATC is doing MSFS with its current ATC integration should be able to do right out of the box. Very excited for MSFS 2024.
Just fantastic, straight and to the point, no nonsense. You guys truly chose the right path for this development of ATC. Providing what truly matters in ATC, and I and the rest of us really appreciate your efforts. Going for a flight not myself.

This looks pretty cool! I always enjoyed traffic injectors in past sims I've tried (I used one in X-Plane to try and liven up airports) but the biggest pain was always that it just seemed like I was just stuck inside of a world that existed around me, but not with me. Being able to hear the comms on the radio and see the other aircraft moving realistically looks great for immersion and much better than flying in and out of airports with either no traffic or planes that don't even notice you.
Just some tips for the ATC side: Unless pushing onto a taxiway, it’s typically push at your discretion or handled by the ramp control and not Ground which is of course different than most other countries. I don’t know if it was necessary in this case, but intersection departures require Runway ## at [intersection] phraseology. Wake turbulence in this case was not implemented correctly. A cautionary statement is good but the FAA requires a 3 minute hold for wake turbulence separation between a super and any other aircraft departing the same runway. Arrivals, tower in America will clear everyone to land right away with a sequence number within the few limitations set by the FAA, which is different from other countries who clear only one aircraft at a time to land a runway. You can view the FAA JO 7110.65W available for free through the FAA government site for all of the information regarding ATC in the U.S.
only thing missing now for a complete real life operation is the weather deviations, hope msfs 2024 implement a proper severe weather!!! what an awesome piece of software have these guys developed, well done BATC.

You do an absolute amazing job in enhancing the simming experience and taking immersion to another level. The supporters package was a day-one-purchase for me. While flying using the experimental branch, I sometimes forget that the feature in fact still is in alpha…it’s already super sophisticated imo. I really love what you’re doing and l‘m looking forward to seeing some traffic enroute soon :)
This is so incredible! Probably the most important advancement in flight simulation technology since they invented the yoke as a PC controller or the H.O.T.A.S. Even just a few years ago, no one would have believed we gonna get something like this. The voice of the controllers are so realistic I would not be able to tell who is the real person and who is the maker of this video. I wish you guys made a small app or program, where you can write your own lines and an A.I voice this realistic would read that out loud. This would be a dream of all DCS mission and campaign makers :D
Everybody is speaking so slow at JFK! Though I love that ATC almost has that Nuu Yoak accent! 😆 I swear there's even a touch of "how long till my shift is over?" tone in there! All snark aside, I wish there were more GA showcases. Not all of us pretend to be jetjocks, but fly the a/c that we could/would fly in RL, if the financials or medicals didn't keep us out of the real thing. Class D to class D with flight following. Fly a bugsmasher into class C/B (both with and without clearance- what happens when I bust airspace?)
What I noticed BATC can’t handle a missed approach . Also when landed, you get a gate, but at the moment the gate is always occupied. But the experience is wonderful. You’re doing a great job as an enhancement of flight sim
Still not vectoring for approach properly. Sending me straight to the final approach fix (FAF) or even inside of it in some cases. We need to be vectored to intercept the localizer BEFORE the FAF, not at it, something like 5 miles minimum. Plus the FMC in most airliners provides a ready path to the intercept point and the controller instructions are interfering with that. I just ignore the ATC instructions and fly my path to correct intercept point. Other than this, BATC does the job that the MSFS2020 default SHOULD be doing to begin with. But I really don't see a lot of AI involvement with BATC to the extent of the other product available elsewhere. Refine the ILS/LOC intercept and this will be a great product. I also notice some AI confusion with the top of decent sometimes, but it works out.
When the traffic comes, they really need to work on the voices. It will need a lot more different voices and more radio noises. You have incredible potential. :)
They need to program something like: "Hey, Delta 2174, you Paul Walker or something? Taxing like it is the new fast n furous? I have a number for you to call" Specially at KJFK well known chatter sweetness hahaha Just kidding, amazing work guys Been waiting something like for ages.

Excellent work guys but we do not get such long taxi clearances. Im a real world A320 Captain and I cant record or remember such a long complicated clearance. It never happens. We get progressive clearances Taxi B N Hold short delta. Then further clearance after Delta
Its notifying the crew that they should wrap up whatever they are doing cause they moving. After that the pilot would announce to the crew to be seated and to be prepared for takeoff.

I have this in mind as it seems like an excellent product. When you took off, you were vectored by the tower, so does that follow your flight plan? If not can you change the flight plan? Also if you're flying a light aircraft & visibility is so poor, can BATC "TALK YOU RIGHT DOWN TO THE GROUND?" Anyone who has BeyondATC, as he's a busy man. Would it maybe be possible to put a kind of multiplayer component into beyondATC? If there are several users of this add-on, the clients could connect each other and generate a sequencing even for multiplayer users. That would be really awesome.

O M G ! ! ! This video was phenomenal. Well, done guys. I am impressed. Thank you for the video. I have a couple questions if you don't mind. First, i noticed in the beginning of the video after you took off, you were having departure tell you turn by turn directions, but I did not see your Nav line in the beginning. Was this because you did not choose a SID? I noticed when ATC told you to fly own navigation you then chose to go direct to that way point. Second, after you landed, I noticed a menu you dropped down and was able to pick your gate. What add-on is that you are using? It said parking something at the top. Thanks
For your first question, There are SIDs that are not RNAV. What this means is on departure, ATC will vector you to your first waypoint/fix. The aircraft does not show a route to that point because the database knows you will receive radar vectors. This video showed the JFK5 (Kennedy 5) RBV (Robbinsville) departure.
2 times in a row I got vectored on a rediculous heading like left 065 when on a 20 mile final for the runway and because I didnt turn it ignored me completely until I do the unthinkable of turning 065 when on that heading that close to final. it did this the last time also but with more time to worry about it. Just a bug with the approach controller everything else seems to be working. Final being on 165 so essentially it is 100+ degrees out of alignment and where I had to make a RIGHT turn to correct onto final... Again strange conflicting instruction
No ETA from what i could gather on their Discord. I'm hoping by the end of the year...but don't quote me on that. Either jump in and get the supporter upgrade/pack now or wait until they reach to us standard backers. Look at the bright side the supporters are going through the testing and all frustrations and we'll get a more polished and less buggy version than what they have.

Various factors were evaluated such as costs, contracts, user feedback, system architecture, and development timeline. Based on these criteria, the choice was made not to use live traffic data. Tests showed minimal differences that most users won't notice. This setup offers a seamless experience without the complexities and costs of live traffic, allowing users to choose their flight times and experience busy airports. Currently, there are no plans to implement live traffic or support any other injectors.
I am at Casablanca and the controller sounds like he had a stroke. Speech is very slow, like glitching. I am not currently paying the premium if this might be why, but I havent had this at other airports while not paying the premium.

I bought supporter pack to get traffic and after first flight Bergen-Oslo I am very happy with that. Works great.

JFK voice is definitely based off Kennedy Steve, and unfortunately the program doesn’t support VFR yet

there is an auto-response function, which you could see as the copilot handling the radio I guess

For your second question, the addon in question is called GSX Pro.

Fenix has built in announcements and you can add your own from real recordings, there are a number of packs available on a discord channel.

I noticed that the voice that was controlling the ground and the tower at KJFK is the same! It hasn't changed

2 times in a row I got vectored on a rediculous heading like left 065 when on a 20 mile final for the runway and because I didnt turn it ignored me completely until I do the unthinkable of turning 065 when on that heading that close to final. it did this the last time also but with more time to worry about it. Just a bug with the approach controller everything else seems to be working. Final being on 165 so essentially it is 100+ degrees out of alignment and where I had to make a RIGHT turn to correct onto final... Again strange conflicting instruction

No ETA from what i could gather on their Discord. I'm hoping by the end of the year...but don't quote me on that. Either jump in and get the supporter upgrade/pack now or wait until they reach to us standard backers. Look at the bright side the supporters are going through the testing and all frustrations and we'll get a more polished and less buggy version than what they have.

Various factors were evaluated such as costs, contracts, user feedback, system architecture, and development timeline. Based on these criteria, the choice was made not to use live traffic data.
Tests showed minimal differences that most users won't notice. This setup offers a seamless experience without the complexities and costs of live traffic, allowing users to choose their flight times and experience busy airports.
Currently, there are no plans to implement live traffic or support any other injectors.

I am at Casablanca and the controller sounds like he had a stroke. Speech is very slow, like glitching. I am not currently paying the premium if this might be why, but I havent had this at other airports while not paying the premium.

I switched to experimental mode, set traffic density to 6, but no traffic (eddf) to see...
You need a traffic model mod - try FSLTL - you just need the base models.
