@@ferretfriend5458 I'm not 100. I still have a few decades to go before I get there. _IF I get there..._ I have been around the block a few times though and have seen some pretty cool stuff. You ever see a Stereopticon?
❤. 20 out of 20 I guess because I'm old. You need to come here and look at our antique tools and collectibles. Some were made in the 1800s. Have a good day.
So the lipstick applicator; I can't be the only one who has no idea so I looked it up. Yeah. It isn't easier. To use a vintage Hollywood Glamour Lips lipstick applicator, you would: Cover the applicator's flat surface with lipstick Smooth out the lipstick with your finger or the applicator Wipe off any excess lipstick from the top edge Line up the top ends of the applicator with the corners of your mouth by moving the bottom handle from your chin Press the applicator onto your lips Rub your lips together to distribute the lipstick evenly The applicator is shaped like a pair of lips and is meant to give your lips a more defined outline. The applicator is similar to a lipstick stencil and can give the classic "smear" look that Joan Crawford made famous. Before applying lipstick, the instructions recommended that you dry and powder your lips
The nostalgia of these things is wonderful. I used to have the vintage mechanical calculator. My dad gave it to me as a gift along with a vintage type writer.
16/20 ... sadly was fooled by a couple of the "modern" items (eg atari!), while I knew most of the antiques, having worked in a museum for my summer holiday jobs! The lip-stick applicator floored me!
I remember #3... they were super cool to the then 5-yr old me. Lots of fun to look through and see your toe (bones) wiggling. Then the machines just weren't around anymore. Fun quiz even if I only got 14 or 15 right. 😅
I was sufficiently correct to think that I am a super fossil geek, which I knew anyway 😂 And yes the lipstick 💄 thing was ‘new’ That’s fun stuff, thank you and cheers!
Hey, some of these things are still practical I find. I live in rainy Florida and muddy, squeaky shoes are very much a reality. Even if those shoes are flip-flops. 😆
Missed seismograph and lipstick applicator. Many of the others I’ve used. Toaster, bed warmer, Atari, cassette tapes. Others I’ve seen used like bootscrape, washboard, cherry pitter. Fun to see them again.
Never used a cherry pitter, or indeed some of the other items either, but I did have an Atari. Cassettes, I used to stay up to all hours of the night to make my mix tapes, because that's when they played the "good stuff", versus just the top 40 on repeat. I used to sit on the school bus with my walkman and tune everyone out listening to those mixtapes. Memories.
78 years old, Got 17. Missed the sisemoscope, (sp?), Penny farthing, ( weird name, for a type of bicycle!), and the coconut grader. Never saw the 1st or 3rd things before but should have guessed better! 😊
19 was called a computer when it first came out, not a calculator. That is what our maths teacher was excited about in 68 when we got something very similar. 😂
80 yrs old - never saw lipstick applicator!!!!! Or heard of one!
I didn't understand that thing at alll!!!
Me either
A lipstick applicator? Please… 18/20
I’m 77. I saw one
I'm 84 and i hadn't either/.
19/20 Missed the Lipstick applicator - never heard of it!
That was a tough one
I thought it was a eye lash curler 😮
Same here. Never saw such a thing, and I'm 76 years old! I got all the rest correct, however.
Ya, I missed the lipstick one too but got the rest
Got two wrong 7
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the fact that you assume we are capable of reading the questions and answers ourselves!
Lol 😂 you would have to be at the very least 100 to have seen these objects.

A nice game......more please😊
Missed 3-4 did pretty good for me. Thank you for this video
Only got 14 right but geez, thought I was old, these are from the post Neanderthal period! Lol
Yup not really relevant unless you are 100 or maybe more..
Mmm you have to get to my age to know what they are but never heard of a lipstick applicator and I’m 74

I would love to. I love the stories that items like this tell.
My grandparents had a glass case with antiques from their childhoods and grandparents’.
Impossible. Question 9 options are A. Commodore B. Atari. C. brown box. Answer A. Atari.

Thanks for that, I’d never heard of one. Guess I could’ve googled it but my mind never thought of that.
14 correct
❤❤❤❤that was fun.
The nostalgia of these things is wonderful. I used to have the vintage mechanical calculator. My dad gave it to me as a gift along with a vintage type writer.
Missed 3 a couple of them I guessed at. Never heard or seen a lipstick applicator, then again I’m in my 50’s. I think some are in a museum?
I can't say anything to that, other than I've closed down museums for how long I've been in them. My poor family. 😅
They came from the 40’s. I had to look up how to use one. More energy than it was worth in my opinion.
Nobody who lived through "Skiffle" would forget a washboard.
Only missed one, the lipstick applicator. However, I never wore lipstick... :)
Missed the lipstick applicator and the coconut scraper. Got the rest though!
Missed 2, good one 👍
I’m 71, missed 4. We actually still used a lot of these items in the 1950’s in rural Pennsylvania.
16/20 ... sadly was fooled by a couple of the "modern" items (eg atari!), while I knew most of the antiques, having worked in a museum for my summer holiday jobs! The lip-stick applicator floored me!
i knew the Atari, my kids grew up in the 80s
17/20. Never heard of a lipstick applicator.
I missed 5. That bread board and lipstick applicator really stumped me!!
I remember #3... they were super cool to the then 5-yr old me. Lots of fun to look through and see your toe (bones) wiggling. Then the machines just weren't around anymore.
Fun quiz even if I only got 14 or 15 right. 😅
The machines were using X-rays. They discontinued using them once we understood the harmful effects of X-rays.
I remember these at the shoe store, but I could never see my toes like I was supposed to.
Great game thank you .
16/20 great quiz. I am 60, never heard of a lipstick applicator
Just missed the lipstick tool....ha!!
17/20 couple of things haven't seen before
You just reminded me how old I am. I still have some of these.
I got them all, but some were educated guesses! I did know most of them, and have used several.
Great stroll through memory lane. I'm 70, and I still got two wrong.
Bed Warmer has a long handle.
Lipstick applicator got me, otherwise no problems
WOW! I STUNK IT UP BADDDD!!!
Missed two. Guessed wrong on the gaming console (shoulda known.) Also, #3. Never seen that before. Really good list overall.

Same here!
A lot of fun.😊
I'm so glad that you enjoyed it!
Missed the fluoroscope, having never been subjected to such. Got the rest.
I missed 4 out of 20 . I must admit that was interesting 🤔
I was sufficiently correct to think that I am a super fossil geek, which I knew anyway 😂 And yes the lipstick 💄 thing was ‘new’ That’s fun stuff, thank you and cheers!
14/20 Some I had not heard of 🤣

16/20 was a little too sure of myself on the ones I missed

I got most of these correct. I must be old :)
Shows stuff from 150 years ago. Then adds Atari and cassette tapes. I feel SO old
Missed 3 but it was fun
They still make similar boot scraps. I have one. 😂
Hey, some of these things are still practical I find. I live in rainy Florida and muddy, squeaky shoes are very much a reality. Even if those shoes are flip-flops. 😆
I had 5 wrong and I'm 79yrs. OLD I think that wasn't too bad.
Missed seismograph and lipstick applicator. Many of the others I’ve used. Toaster, bed warmer, Atari, cassette tapes. Others I’ve seen used like bootscrape, washboard, cherry pitter. Fun to see them again.

62 years old. I got to say, I would have hotten an "F" if this was a test in school. I knew about eight. Yikes!

I ave 19 of 20 in my basement 😂
I got a lot wrong but i did know a few of the old items
16 out of 20. I'm 84 and some of those things were older than me.
I did ok for the first 12 or so, but I certainly missed three or four in the last 8 as some I have never heard of them.
19 out of 20 isn't to bad, I think. Some of those things I haven't seen in years. Some I've never seen but remember my granddad talking about them.
17/20 not too bad
74 yrs old in a few days. Sad thing I still have a few of those items. Tons of wax seals & my 22 yr old car still has a cassette player.
3 that I didn’t know.

17 right. I'm feeling old now.
I didn't like it much because I remembered using about half of the things that were in there. It made me feel old. but then I am 81.
Got 16 right answers
19 was called a computer when it first came out, not a calculator. That is what our maths teacher was excited about in 68 when we got something very similar. 😂
I missed ONE, the lipstick applicator.
