- This is the story of our friends and family walking the Camino de Santiago (filmed in 4K) - along with more than 270,000 people who will walk the Camino in 2016. This is the sixth year that the group have followed the 'ways' of the Camino and it is the first year trekking the stunning Portuguese route to Santiago (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
The five day trip covers 152km and starts in Porto in Northern Portugal and ends just over the Spanish border in the Galician town of O Porriño. Our most recent Camino to the ancient end of the world - Finisterre and Muxia click = • Camino de Santiago to ...

The Portuguese Way has a long history which can be seen in many of the buildings and architecture along the route. The city of Porto and the University of Coimbra are great examples of this and are both listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This is the second most popular Camino however, it´s less crowded than the Camino Francès. According to statistics from the Pilgrims office in Santiago, over 16% of those receiving the Compostela certificate walk the Camino Português - it is the fastest growing in popularity.

After hiking in Açores - Ilha de São Miguel, Pico, Santa Maria, Corvo & Faial, also called the Azores islands, wonna try my endurance to do the Portuguese part of the Camino de Santiago, from Porto onwards. Kind emerald regards from Newmarket on Fergus, county Clare, Eire.
Superbly produced video - the Sony FDR-AX100 really delivers and is small enough to easily carry on a long walk like this, I reckon - and the footage is an excellent advertisement for the Portuguese Way. It has convinced me to do it once I've finished the last remaining stage of the Francés.

I believe it is a TH-cam or vimeo username or subscriber not a company ,apparently you can you can now download a lot at good quality 4K stock footage on vimeo, hope that helps
What's the best month to do the Portuguese way and do you know if they have the service that transport your luggage from one point to the next
I did the coastal route this September and the weather was wonderful. The Espiritual Variante was something not to miss if you can. We did use a luggage transport a few times. Think it was called Sinmochilla. Had no problems. Highly recommend the Portugese Camino.
