Mystery boxes are put together based on the specifications and requests of the person who purchased it. This particular guy said he LOVES sports games, so of course we gave him a lot of sports games. $1000 goes a long way, so he literally got one of each of the sports games we have in stock, basically for free. His box was $1000, and he got nearly $1300 in value. The sports games added up to maybe $100 tops, so they were essentially thrown in for free. He also got a good variety of other games, including a lot of harder to find titles from the big collection we got. Some opened / CIB, some sealed. If you think the box is disappointing or bad, that may be because it wasn't pulled for you. We want everyone to be happy with and love their mystery boxes, so we customize each one based on what the customer says they want.
While I doubt he wanted each year of those they are pretty cheap. He should have asked for 1 copy of each sports series. However since he said he plays all games, even crappy ones, he might not be bothered by it.

It was explained multiple times what the customer wanted, and you didn't agree with what the customer wanted for whatever reason. When they said $300 worth of free games, that's the part of the mystery box that entices people. You're getting more games than what you're paying for, at the cost of not knowing exactly what you get, besides a list of some specifications like which consoles, which genres, etc. Double Jump clearly fulfilled exactly what the customer wanted, but you're just complaining on everybody's comment because you're upset with the mystery box that you didn't even order. So when they said they gave him $300 worth of free games, it's not a lie. The value of the $1000 mystery box ended up being closer to $1300 because they wanted to throw in extra stuff for the customer. Give it up already.

He said he loves sports games and plays everything, so we gave him one of each of the sports games basically for free, since he got extra value out of the box, and then a good mix of other games. If you ordered a mystery box, we would pull it according to your specifications. You don't like his box because you don't have the same tastes as him, and wouldn't give us the same parameters to pull from.

He also included a list of what he already had, and he had most of the "common" stuff like Uncharted, Farcry, Star Wars, GTA, etc. We had to put a few games back after filming and replace them with others because we accidentally pulled duplicates for him. Its weird for people to comment on how a mystery box is "disappointing" when it wasn't pulled to their specifications.
