- Back in Wales today and back down Sully bootsale. Picked up a few bits. Went to a seller I've not had much luck with before but I hope that's changed today... although I'm still not 100% sure.

Question about shoes :
1. How do you know what brand and model they are ? And how do you do your research as to what price you sell them on eBay
2. Most of these shoes are quite dirty . Do you come back home and chuck them onto the washing machine or hand wash them ? Sorry I’m a bit of a shoe newbie so curious as how you clean them before you take the photos
3. What shoe size do you normally buy that you think sells well.
Really curious into trying reselling shoes would appreciate some guidance on them

I have a rule of thumb when I go to the car boots and yard sales, as soon as they utter the words "They go for more online (or ebay), I've looked them up, it's worth more" I walk away, everytime because why on earth would most people who have done that ever sell for so much less? Everytime their asking prices are very close to ebay ones making it no point at all. I always tell myself there is so much other stuff to buy without the dodgy salesman pitch knowing full well I am a reseller.
Yeah I need to follow this rule more often

If someone sells you multiple stuff and there are issues with it. Mention it the next time to sweeten the deal. It gives you a bit of a bargaining tool.
