I had an Arnold Hoyer with a cutaway from the same era, I think, and, it sounded very much like that one. I wonder if the makers were related. Too bad I destroyed it, still feeling the pain after all these years :( ...
I'm hearing "Star Trek"! Sure enough, a quick Google search seems to confirm that Out Of Nowhere was the basis for that theme tune. Very fitting, of course.
Einfach zu geil war in Solingen beim Konzert 🎉immer wieder geil hammer einfach so ein Vorbild für mich als Gitarrist ❤❤ und so bodenständig die jungs einfach für die Musiker seeele
Just want to alert viewers to Tommy Emmanuel's wonderful album From Out of Nowhere, recorded in 1979 with Pee Wee Clark and others. It features this song, naturally. The whole thing is on TH-cam.
I find Bruno's solo much more interesting than Jocho's which much too busy with all 64th note runs. This type of playing bores me. I am an 80 year old jazz guitarist who started playing at 14 by the way. Bruno's solo is more musical.
Bruno is playing a Epiphone Century from the 40s, great sound !

In the Sweeet Spot!!
Honestly apart from some of the best musicians on earth, the quality of the recording is sooo good!
¡¡¡ The ease that Joscho has to surround himself with excellent musicians like him. Even in that he has great talent...¡¡¡¡

Humble guys but top flight performers 👍. I could listen to them 24/7.
And great bass solo by Volker! Yeah!
Great Guitars; Great Musicians; Great Rendition of a Great Tune!

The quite different styles of Bruno and Josho blend wonderfully in this beautiful piece 👏👏👏

That old Epiphone sounds outstandingly good...but probably because it is played well😜
Sounds more „natural“ to me than the Super 400 🤓🤝 … but Joscho’s playing sounds very good 👍
Merveilleux
Wow! Amazing! It may take weeks for this smile to leave my face. Great jam gentlemen. Thank you. Blessings from Kansas~

What you can do with just a thumb!?!
Wes...
Anyone knows the theory behind the last bars of the song??
All guitars must be electric by 2030 x
I hope I never have to play with these guys--after 1 chorus, I am fresh out of ideas! 🤷🏽♂️

I had a Super 400 but had to trade it in because the sound wasnt as good as Joscho's 400!
