At first I didn't believe that hairdryers could do such a thing until I went to a salon and they blow dried my hair after a cut and it was the first time I saw my hair with such volume and it looked amazing. (I hate my hair) so it was a shock. I do have thick and wavy hair so that's probably why too. But that was my first time to see my hair well styled, I don't know how To style my hair lol. I decided to buy a blow dryer, let's see how it goes.

      Clay or wax.
Clay for not a strong hold, but to keep it organized. Giving it a more natural look.
Wax for a way stronger hold and completely matte finish.

For more volume and texture blow dry your hair with NO heat till it is a little dry in the direction of your natural hair fall and then turn on the heat and run your fingers through your hair slightly in the opposite direction for about 30 seconds and then turn off the heat again and continue to blow dry till it is 100% dried.

  • @GamingwithCasss

I disagree with a lot of these tips. First the reason people sometimes blow-dry hair out of control to achieve a rough dry in order to begin styling process. Since you don't want to start with wet hair. Usually hair that is 3/4 dry and often times almost dry is the best for most control with round brush. 2 holding hair dry too far away especially when blowdrying won't provide much smoothness or control in following the brush with round brush and if you know what your doing holding hairdryer close to the brush is fine and will product the best blowout. These tips are good but more general and not really related to actual styling process and why stylists do what they do to achieve certain styles.
