I've been doing this already because I have curly/ wavy hair but the thing is that it leaves you with a head ache. But as you keep doing it you get use to it.
It's just that i have been doing the reverse blow drying for years now, cause it simply adds volume, but doing it for such long time as u said will eventually damage hair in the long run, style does comes at a cost
I only use a paddle brush! I find that brush to be the best! Normal brushes hurt my scalp! And paddle is so gentle on my head and it latches on to more of the area within my head
I used it and wow just wow the results are crazy I already have wavy straight hair but wow it made it even straighter. The only thing I don’t like is I don’t have a lot of volume maybe you could show a way to get s little more volume from this method. It’s not really because the hot air isn’t forced on one part of the hair so it’s really just sealing the hair strands which makes it soft and straight because of the heat. I have long hair and I do a similar technique and it’s so nice. It also dries hair a lot faster for me because air drying takes like 1-2 hours and this only takes about 20 mins
When you say "dry my hair" are you using a blow dryer or are you towel drying it? If the latter then definitely switch to a blow dryer and also use a pre styler before you dry it. Also try not to wash your hair everyday if you aren't already doing that.

I've been doing this since September of 2019 and I stopped in March of 2020 because my hair kept on falling out. Mind you my family does not have a genetic vulnerability of hair loss and my hair kept on falling out when I go into the shower. Heat plus overcoming = damage and thinning of the hair. So I highly recommend just loving your natural hair and don't always use a hair dryer and just let it air dry naturally. Also don't always wash your hair every single day.

I would like to use this technique, I just got a question. Whenever I put my blow dryer on high heat and high blow my hard tends to have results the same as if I did my hair with a flat iron. And the ends become loose instead of together. It just looks odd and thinner. Should I still put it on high or keep it at a medium heat?
It makes my hair straight and manageable from wavy to straight, at first I did not believe it but when I tried it at first my hair becomes puffy but as I finished all the procedures wow its really amazing. i do this everyday morning. takes around 10 min end to end including using straightening rod. it's tiring. .but i can't go to work without this daily routine
