I have always wondered how the song would have gone if the young lady hadn't decided to jump on stage and take the spotlight. I feel Bruce just shortened the song slightly when it became obvious she wasn't going to get back down. The difference between Bruce and a lot of other artists, he saw she wasn't a threat just over enthusiastic and didn't get security all over her butt because don't doubt for a second that Tony wasn't watching this and waiting for a cue from Bruce to remove her if need be.
I’m guessing the same, you didn’t want to discuss whether she was a plant or not. I’ve seen him over 100 times and have seen him have crew members on stage for a planted skit but have also seen him allow many fans to jump on stage to dance , etc. Usually women of of any age. Before this tour he still crowd surfed on his back
from the mid arena ramps all the way on his back until the crowd passed him back up to the stage. This was part of hungry heart which you can find on video from 2016 and several tours before. I’ve also seen guys jump on the stage and head toward him security grabbed them before they knew it. I understand the dangers in this day and age, but I agree with the above fan. Bruce enjoys his fans and occasionally allows the ladies to come up and dance. His security is always close. I know I can be wrong but I doubt these spontaneous episodes are set up. Last thing, I was once there and saw a fan jump on the back of the stage behind the drum riser and run up toward Bruce from behind just to be neat simultaneously clobbered by nils guitar swing and tackled by security. Crazy. Just my opinion but been seeing him since 1985 and most seem legit.

David, your review suffered from not saying what bothered you about the performance. I also suspect it had to do with the girl being a plant, and I don't believe it was, but your policy of always being honest should be in full-effect here. It left a hole in the review. I always enjoy your reviews so please do t take that as an insult. I am a die-hard Bruce fanatic but I can take hearing some constructive criticism of him.

The dancing girl was staged for sure. Too good to be true. The kids singing on "Waiting on a sunny day" are real for sure.😂
bruce doesnt plant these fans, but its understandable to think so, youd think "oh any secuirty would have tackled her instantly" this was not planned though. hes had a request section since 2008 and on some instances the fans who get their requests come up, this is one of em
in short, the section of the show is planned but bruce doesnt plan what gets requested (one thing to back him up, he has admitted on stage when he has soundchecked requests or knew about them before the show)
