1955 Chrysler 300 VIN 1

In this video by Noel Hastalis, Mike McCandless' fully restored 1955 C300 serial number 1 is unveiled at the MCACN show in Rosemont, IL Saturday Nov 19, 2022. The concours restoration was performed by Tom White Sr and Jr of Whitepost Restorations over the past 3 years.

An article in one of the early "Collectible Automobile" magazine advises that a contributor discovered a partially dismantled 300C in a wrecking yard some where in the US and noted the VIN plate showed that it was the remains of the first one built.
