Just one thing I would like to mention, as a dwarf main: Gyrocopters are actually pretty decent in melee agaist targets that don't fight back well, and that includes buildable settlement towers. You can actually sent multiple units of gyros to melee the same tower as soon as they're built, and they'll kill it fast enough without losing ammo or taking almost any damage

It’s easy to learn patience… says legend after years of dealing with his stream chat asking the same questions over and over. In the same stream. Forged in the patience fires of mount doom.
This battle is actually a really good example of how incredibly easy minor siege battles are. Have enough ammo? You win. You can usually even get short range units to fire at enemies from slightly outside the settlement border and enemies will almost never charge out to stop you, so those two units of crossbows would also get to use all their ammo before the real "attack" begins.
This was already the case in WH2, but still it's infuriating to see how settlement battles (both siege and minor) are still so ludicrously cheesable as the attacker in version 5.2...
Thanks, Legend! A real masterpiece of patience and target prioritization making the difference! You've also rated this battle. Can we get this rating more often? P.S. You can attack towers with gyros by going to melee mode or using "alt" + "right click".
They have fire while moving. Units with that will fire at the target you tell them to go into melee with before they get to it, even if you have fire at will turned off, so they would waste ammo on the tower on approach.
Grudge Settler Gyrocopters are OP, probably my fav unit in the new dwarf roster, an ez counter to large unit spam AI loves to use. If it's fun for 20 - 30 min, then you can make a proof of concept instead of the full challenge. For example: "Can you win a campain using your starting army?" just needs you to show how to tackle the early game and that one can make the lord in to a one man doom stack. That would need about 10 - 20 Turns in game and 1 - 3 big hard fights.
