I wear my hair long only because my husband of 25 yrs prefers that I do. Young women on my new job were surprised one day when I came in off duty with my hair down... 'doesn't that get in your way?' 'I cut MY hair after I turned x (saying I'm too old?)' I told them that this is how my husband prefers it. Shocked (because I was not known to be shrinking violet) they stated 'well, if my husband demanded that I look a certain way, I'd show him and cut all my hair off'. I looked at them perplexed... 'first he doesn't demand how I wear my hair, he likes it this way. Second, he is the one who has to look at me all day... I check once in the am. Third, I love him. This is a very simple way to show him this every. Single. Day.' I walked away to expressions of shock, some with anger, some with reflection. It was this day that I woke up and realized something has gone very wrong in our society, and its name- I found- is Feminism.

@@BlckCloud73 yes, thank you. We honor each other. I've been blindly working night shift for years with 3 others who have same values as my husband and me. Life events required us to move, and this change has opened my eyes. I'm not happy about what I've seen, I am sad particularly for the Gen Y and younger. So many raised by single mothers or households of divorce... we are in more trouble than we know.

About 6 years ago, I had enough of my mothers manipulative behavior. This woman had my father bowing to her. My sister and her husband completely ignoring the profanity laced explosions at holiday dinners. I removed my self from the situation completely and am holding out until the behaviour changes. I've made my stance very clear and was scolded for being completely wrong. Videos like this make me feel that my decision was correct

Sounds logical, but I believe you deserve what you tolerate.
Sleeping in separate beds has saved marriages. Getting enough sleep is no joke. The reason why snoring/tooth grinding/talking/moving is tolerated in the beginning of a relationship is because the sleep deprivation has not built up enough to have a chronic effect. I'm not saying every couple would benefit from sleeping in separate beds, but it has saved many marriages. There are plenty of studies you can Google if you don't believe me.
BlckCloud73 the only reason we sleep with women at the beginning is to have more sex. No sex and I would never sleep over even as a youth. I used to sleep over when I was let’s say 24 just to get more ass middle of the night and the morning . Otherwise why would I want some too warm breeding beast farting next to me. It's 2020 and after following you and a few others I am the happiest I have ever been. I learned to detach my happiness from other people. I catch people easily who are trying to manipulate me especially the "significant other" and I call them out for it. Let them know, what ever they think they have to offer me, I either don't need it, don't want it or I can find it somewhere else. The people I catch trying to punish me are pushed out of my inner circle. Thank you for your videos, I consider them a valuable asset to me.

Today I had coffee at 5 AM, like usual. Only that I realised today what an important day it is today!
On 4th of January of 2016, I started my journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I never looked back. Inspite of injuries, frictions with the people around, several break-ups, moving in and out of my place...and many more problems, I stayed true to the art. Competing, losing or winning, going on away days and just about every scenario you can think of. I've watched dozens if not hundreds of people quit, sooner or later. But I did not quit while it's true I've almost quit when the pressure was one....And now I am more than ever determined to make it to black belt status and true competitor.

Anytime a woman tried to manipulate me, it backfired on her tremendously. I identify these attempts instinctively and it causes a natural reaction in me that is partly driven by anger.
That shaved private area would have resulted in me withholding sexual contact. I also want hair there. Trim it, groom it but don't shave it. Shaving it makes it look like a prepubescent child and I don't get aroused by children.

However, if you take away their ability to manipulate you with sex they lose their ace card and it will become your weapon as it plays on their insecurities. Don't use it if you care about the relationship, because it could backfire. She might seek validation elsewhere to prove to herself that she is desirable.
Frankly, if a woman tries to manipulate you, simply dump her and move on. These people are toxic to your wellbeing.

I knew when my first wife of 23 years shaved her kitty it was the beginning of the end. She didn't do it to punish or reward me, she ultimately did it for "another". She used to even say to me "good boy" when I was being, well a good boy in her eyes. Thank you for instructing me to quit daydreaming and hoping about moving to a better and more peaceful location to actually making a list and actively checking off items to move forward with the actual plan. I have ALWAYS wanted to live near the beach, and it will happen! My first wife told me we couldn't move there because it would take the "specialness" away from beach when we visit. Lame. I'm getting unstuck in 2019 and I appreciate your dedication in helping me do so!

I really wish I would have seen this video a while ago. It would have saved me a lot of trauma from emotional & psychological manipulation. But thankfully I cut those people off already and I’m happy to have found this channel. It teaches me a lot and inspires me a lot. It has also added to my healing process from some of that trauma.

Great vid Bruno! I agree, regarding manipulation, it’s used as leverage, controlling. I do think many, I speak in terms of men, find a comfort in being manipulated. I would add my supposition, many women who use their sexuality to manipulate are the same women who opine that sex is all their partners care about. It’s used as a mere convenience.
I have quit two jobs in a row and left a relationship when such manipulations have occurred. Yes, it hurt me to no end and the people on the other side of the trade may have thought they won, that they scored some kinda victory but my sources whom I deem reliable have told me otherwise. Leave with your class and dignity intact, leave them to their own devices and the macabre slaughter of their own lives to deal with. Trust me when I say this, things did not end well for them but hey, it's all about them now isn't it?!

Oh man! George, I have had this happen (now that I think about it) so many times! Admittedly, I LET it happen and most likely did it too. That reward system happens over time almost till your response or outcome is a habit(ie: work, relationships, growing up). I've gotten good at creating MY reward system at my job(some things are definitely more rewarding long term than a meanial raise once a year). But I definitey need to work on MY relationship behaviors. When it becomes an " I'll show her" or vice-versa situation, it's time to go. Been enjoying your vids since you had the epic beard and found you at the right time. I was comjng out of a relationship, changing jobs, etc. Focusing on ME now. Your advice always gives me something to ponder(pipes, cigars, relationships, etc.).

I try to give myself 30mins a day to meditate and imagine I’m on a beach or in a jungle by a waterfall with the birds singing and the trees moving...keeps me centred for the day. An honest review about the coffee intro here. It used to annoy me as well, but now I learned why. Patience is a virtue. I don't have patience. I want everything right now. But things don't work like that.
On most days I wake up late and hurry up to work. Today is Saturday. I woke up early, made myself some butter coffee (no chopsticks for the vortex method) and tried to imitate the swallowing sound on my first sip because it's that satisfying. I guess I didn't like the slow pace of talking also. Guess why? I want my voice to be heard so I always hurry up out of fear not to miss the chance to talk. Experts agree shaving one’ s pubic hair is unhealthy; it can make you susceptible to infections and irritate the skin of a very sensitive area - it’ s not just a cosmetic issue...pubes are there for a reason!
It's crucial to understand why both men and women do that to each other. In a simplified nutshell it is due to fear. They want to destroy something once it feels good because they fear that the partner will sooner or later abuse, hurt, reject, whatever. It is due to traumas in childhood and/or even adulthood. Most people have been traumatized. That's not our fault. That said, there has to be some self awareness and active self work going on. People who have no interest in "fixing" themselves prefer to use their traumas as manipulation. This is easy to spot. Get to know a man or woman. Be friends first. Have deep conversations. That is where we get to see where the person's state of mind is at. Always working to be better or wallowing in their wounds taking others down with them?

How do you spot a manipulator before you become a victim? In addition to withholding sex to change me, my wife took her daughter away from me whom I was about to adopt and had been raising since birth. My wife knows how much I love and care about our daughter and she is using her to manipulate me to control me. I unfortunately ignored all the red flags throughout the relationship and she took advantage of my beta habits in regards to women. As gut wrenching as it is to lose my baby, I know I can’t give in either. A very hard place to find myself and the consequences of being a “nice guy”. Thank you George for sharing this wisdom. All men and women need this advice.

No, I shaved it for myself. At age 65, I finally got the nerve to do it. It felt great. Kept it that way for months, just because I liked it. My husband didn’t care one way or another, so I’m letting it grow back, but at my age, trying new things is kind of exciting. So go for it. It should be what YOU like. Don’t groom in a way that pleases someone else and not you.

Daydreaming made me think of imagination which in turn made me think of Dungeons and Dragons(the table top game) critical thinking, math, problem solving, reading and person to person interaction..all good things.
Happened to me, punished for noticing something about her and the relationship overall, it was turning south, increasing disrespect. I walked away for a period to give her space, time and distance to think about things, maybe that was a bit harsh but that's what I did and she took her kitty and was in a full blown relationship in zero time flat. So in a sense I broke my own heart then got stabbed again by her, that was two years ago. And I think that ultimately, I made the right decision to let it be and not try to chase it down, to beg for my life, to let her go. It's taken a long time to recover, I usually do and am only now coming out of it, been working out at the gym diligently for the past year, got a new job interview today.
She was the love of my life but it was for the best (blessing in disguise if you will) that she revealed who and what she really was, 6 year relationship. Gotta screen and filter better next time, ultimately it was my fault for having entered into the relationship in the first place when there were flaming red flags on fire throughout the relationship, almost from day one if not from day one. George, keep up the good work! I need and like the stability of a good and stable mind.
Hey buddy this was great to hear. I am in a similar situation. My opinion, your going to learn a lot from what happened you already are it seems. And love... has many forms and while you can still love someone as a human being despite what they did to you, it's possible this wasn't the love of your life, how do you know you haven't lived your full life yet? I look around and I see a lot of divorced people in there 40's and 50's and if your in your 20'3/30's its going to be even worse for them. We live in an instant gratification culture now with a cracked moral compass. So don't take it personal. People have forgotten what true love is.

The love of my life narrative has changed to, someone that I used to know and George has been instrumental to my healing process by way of his video so eloquently explaining that the guy after you is just the transition guy and that the new relationship has an expiration date so in conclusion this new guy is gonna get slaughtered too, he just doesn't see it coming and he doesn't think anything is gonna happen to him. When we're in the middle of heartbreak it's easy for us to convince ourselves that the last one was the one but no she wasn't, you're right, I can see that now. I just wanted her to say, VM or text that she would be there if and when I wanted to come back, not use this as just the ticket she wanted to just up and go screw another guy but that's how it crumbled and I NEVER TAKE BACK any girl or woman that's been run through after me, it really is over. Love and relationships take work, some more some less than others but nonetheless work. And that's the stepping off point for most people nowadays especially for women who are constantly hit on and flattered by one fool after another. That's their validation and they want their ticket punched by as many men as they can fit inside of them. Like you said, instant gratification combined with no morals. The ironic thing is, the clues were there from the very beginning but I chose to ignore them, thinking I could keep things in pocket. I've been coming back to Adam and Eve story from the Bible and I just can't believe how much there is to learn and integrate from that story. What's eve's sin? Great video. Really liked the theological statements, lol. I worked in a “Christian environment” for almost 5 years and it was filled with people who all about being “blessed and highly favored.” I was never a fan of that because it showed arrogance and a lack of humility. That mindset also made the work environment hostile with manipulation, control, and threats. Almost married a woman like that, a manipulative punisher, but was bitter sweetly left at the altar. You are so very right about people not appreciating each other and manipulating. They just get used to each other and take it for granted. My man is a truck driver. He goes away for days, sometimes weeks, and when he comes back home i make sure homemade food is prepared to his liking, the house is clean, the errands are taken care of and I know I am getting my sweet reward at the end of the day. It is not even about sex, it's just the feeling of longing that goes away and happiness and comfort comes.

I use a soundscape app that has multiple settings that I personally enjoyed in person. Such as waterfalls, ocean waves, calm forest, rainy field. These sounds are great for relaxing and falling asleep.
We all need advice in life at some time or another, like a big brother whose already been there. So many manipulative people who want to control your life, your thoughts, beliefs and so on. In life you have to learn how to deal with people, your boss, wife, coworkers among others. Strong willed people who don't take no for an answer and sociopaths who know how to manipulate human nature are the ones to avoid if possible. Again experience is the best teacher and we all learn from mistakes but learning how to judge character and who to trust in life will save you some grief later on. The saying my mother use to tell me is show me your friends and I can tell who you are, you are who you keep for company!!! Surround yourself with talented decent minded people and some will rub off!!!!
I usually get a healthy amount of matches on dating apps. I've been on and off these apps enough times to understand how the stupid game works. I've noticed that my matches drop off substantially if I list even the most basic of my standards.
