Located beside Petersfield Station within Petersfield, Hampshire, one of the busier and more-served stations on the Portsmouth Direct Line. There are three loud alarms at this crossing, which means this level crossing makes a lot of noise when lowering, and one of the alarms sounds with a fast tone. The barriers here are old, and are rather worse for wear, since one can be heard grinding rather loudly as it raises. The adjacent signal box controls this level crossing.
