Where are the economics in this economics speech?
He's touched on it a dozen times.... Eliminate regulations that cripple business, like all the senseless EPA regulations and other government red tape. Energy, we have plenty of natural gas, oil and we could be using it rather than buying it from other countries. Tariffs on cars built in Mexico. If they don't build the cars here, we won't let them import them. Illegal immigration drives up the cost of everything, hospital bills, school systems, police and fire depts, they don't pay into the system but utilize every single public service. Thereby, your city/town raises taxes. Think of it like this (My ex-wife was a nurse) look at your hospital, they by law cannot refuse service to anyone. So think of how many illegals use the hospital for everything from a fever to child birth. When they walk out the door, good luck finding "Juan Gonzales" or "Maria Rodriguez" when it's time to pay the bill. Therefore, the insurance companies raise prices, hospitals charge more to cover the losses. Those are just a few examples.

Let me explain to you why his comparison is so idiotic. Inflation is a measure of how much the price of goods and services increases over time. If his point is to show that you get less bang for your buck these days, his props would necessarily need to come from different time periods while being roughly the same price. Showing two separate unit sizes from the same period with different price points shows absolutely nothing other than mental decline.

For seniors disabled etc. Food assistance should not be base on how much rent you pay or not. It should be based on min.wage full time plus 500. From a on the job/crime injury/life time disabled senior in substandard living to afford housing . Need to move affordable available housing is scarce and long years wait. They reduce food assistance because I pay kess than market rate rent. Cannot save with out them reducing. Cannot make more than 49.99 to save for move deposit and higher rent. So 80 turns to 45 dollars to 23 in food assistance. While prices go higher. A broken leg cost almost 1,200 with insurance ,no cast, no surgery, no increase in help of food The food assistance needs to be based only on min. income plus 500. Food went up again last week. I had to drop food assistance to save again to move. It will take apx 8 to 10months. Hungry every day. Constant looking to save in purchase and gleaming crops. Alot if rice beans.
