Love how underrated these are, I still really want to try potion permit and I can 100% recommend garden story, the music and art is super good and I’m still picking it up and playing a few years after buying, it’s a fun one to play a lot in big bursts for sure!
A guy at Gamestop recommended Alchemic Cutie to me! I still havent played it yet but it's in my list for sure! Please make more of these videos! I love finding new cozy games that arent well known!
I was kinda addicted to islanders for several weeks and now I’m at place 36 worldwide. I’m really proud for some reason. I really love the planning without being stressed. You don’t have a time limit.
Such great highlights! Moonlighter and Smushi Come Home especially! Moonlighter has an incredibly strong gameplay loop, while Smushi fully captivated me with its colorful characters and world building. 10/10 will always recommend it! 🍄
For anyone on the fence on Moonlighter... Yes! It is a perfect game - first game i got on sale (also it's pretty much always 90% off, worth it for the few dollars) - the soundtrack is amazing, the shopkeeping part is my favourite and the combat is nice enough to complement the game. Wish i could get the physical, cause it's such a good game. 100% - my top 3 games on switch :D Also if you do play it, PLEASE don't check the wiki for prices, it makes the game so much more fun
Great list. Yes I had most of them but that made me consider the others more. Interested in Alchemic Cutie. I love Potion Permit so much. It is so underrated and such a cozy good time. Lovely little game loop and world. I think it's time for a replay.
I think you sold me on Moonlighter, especially if I can find it on sale. I'd never heard of it before, but it sounds like something right up my alley. Thanks!

Smushiiiiii adore this game !!! Thanks Pat for another cool video, will definitely check out Islander actually, seems pretty fun and challenging and garden story
I did not find moonlighter cozy at all, i died so many times and stressed the heck out of ;( edit: but then I loved potion permit and found the combat suuuupeeer chill
You should feature Cozy Grove when doing another video like this. You might find it similar to animal crossing in a lot of ways, but with spooky vibes if you, or not too many people know about that game.
Islanders is so good! I've been playing it for years on PC and got it on the Switch as well. It's great to play while listening to podcasts or audiobooks.
I like potion permit a lot, but it does hit a point in late game where it gets s bit dull. But especially Early on and in its conception, it is one of my favorite cozy games ever.
im addicted to Moonlighter. i have 2 save slots, one is to make a ton of money and the other is to see how far i can go in the dungeons. i love that the dungeons are never the same every time you enter and i love the weapon upgrades. super satisfying and the grind isnt too bad. i do take breaks from it but i usually do come back and play it for a long time.
Smushi come home is made by the same company that made Mail Time! In the demo for Mail Time there was actually a quest you could do for Smushi and after completing it you would get an advertisement for it
Im currently obsessed with moonstone island and I think alchemic cutie will be a great follow on from that. I’m a massive moonlighter fan so absolutely agree with your assessment
Shout out for Wytchwood. It's sort of like a top down Zelda except, instead of dungeon crawling and fighting, you actually gather materials and craft your way through the story and various side quests. Very cozy and definitely underrated.
just found your channel recently, and i LOVE your videos! always great recommendations for cozy games. Also have you played lego builder's journey? I've heard good things about that one too and wondered if it was better or comparable to brick tales.
So many great games! Lots I haven't tried but have been sitting in my wishlist forever lol. I have never heard of Alchemic Cutie so excited to learn more about that one. Maybe you should replay it and make how-to's!
Islanders is SO GOOD!! I've been raving about it for years and I wish it got more attention! I was just thinking how I wanted to try a Lego game on Switch, perfect timing Also, Nina's looking a little ET over there 👽🍇
Yep, i like moonlighter...i like to go into the dungeon and then come back to sell..i also hired a sales assistant to help me sell while i have more time into the dungeon 😊 the ost is alsp very good. i also like Garden story - cute grape 🍇😊
Alchemic Cutie felt like you’d been dropped into the middle of someone else’s save file after they’d already completed the tutorial. I slogged through it, but the frustration factor is high.
I've never even heard of LEGO Brick Tales, but DAMN, that's a shame 'cause it seems SO fun! Thanks for telling us! Going on cozy game Switch wishlist for sure!
Balatro is the card game the sea people play in Dave the Diver and I swear I was like wow I could spend all my time in this game playing a mini game so I’m happy to learn there is a separate game for it
If you like rogue like card games you may like solitairica for mobile. I bought all of the decks and am still working on beating the boss with some of them including the original free one.
So, I heard of Moonlighter back when it came to PS4. I'm not a Rogue-like player, but the game play loop hooked me to try. I still haven't finished, but that is only because I have so many games to play ¹and no time to play them. But what a fun game, when I do.
Hi!!! Hear me out….. Pokemon. All of the base pokemon games. I know they are HUGE games. They make tons of money. But for me Pokemon is the best cozy game. Yes it’s fighting based but like pokemon is so oddly overlooked and not talked about when it comes to being cozy. Like not really when it comes to normal gaming. But like no one in the cozy game genre talks about it being a cozy game. Like it’s a perfect cozy game if you aren’t focusing on the battles. Me personally I’ll go shiny hunting before bed or like if there’s a pokemon I want a good roll on I’ll run around an area and try and find a good pokemon. So with that it’s super chill and cozy for me. Idk.
Moonlighter also has a demo in North America and Europe to try out before you buy. I recommend the complete edition which packs in the dlc and is also regularly on sale for 85-90%

Moonlighter is amazing! It’s one of my favorite hidden gems.
A really fun game even though I'm not good at action combat. I have it on Switch and it was cheap. Been out for quite awhile.
Smushiiiiii adore this game !!! Thanks Pat for another cool video, will definitely check out Islander actually, seems pretty fun and challenging and garden story
Yes!!! I remember you said you loved smushi! 🧡
POTION PERMIT is a sleeper hit 💤
Moonlighter was one of the first switch games I bought, and I loved it! I have no idea why I dropped it but you've inspired me to pick it up again
A lot of recommendations i haven’t seen others talk about!!! That last one really intrigued me.
You would love it! Especially since you really enjoyed slime rancher
I did not find moonlighter cozy at all, i died so many times and stressed the heck out of ;(
edit: but then I loved potion permit and found the combat suuuupeeer chill

Love it too but definitely becomes a grind

Unless I missed it, please try Roots of Pacha! It also has great music! They put so much love into that game!
Yes! I did do a stream of it when it came out on switch
My top underrated cozy games are definitely Yonder and Forager. Love love love them both. Countless hours spent. I rarely hear people talk about them.
Loved forager!
Smushi come home is made by the same company that made Mail Time! In the demo for Mail Time there was actually a quest you could do for Smushi and after completing it you would get an advertisement for it

Very cozy and definitely underrated.
Surprisingly I love Potion Permit. Another I just discovered on Switch is Big Farm Story.
Potion Permit is SO underrated! I hate combat and I found the combat pretty easy in this game. I loved this game!
I'm very excited for Trade Tales to come on Switch!
Wishlisting Garden Story and Florence
I love potion permit but God I wish it was longer? Had a second town or something? It's truly a delight but I'm left wanting more
I loved Potion Permit! I don't see anybody ever talk about Button City!
just found your channel recently, and i LOVE your videos! always great recommendations for cozy games. Also have you played lego builder's journey? I've heard good things about that one too and wondered if it was better or comparable to brick tales.

Alchemic Cutie felt like you’d been dropped into the middle of someone else’s save file after they’d already completed the tutorial. I slogged through it, but the frustration factor is high.
Totally agree! I felt so lost but had a bit of fun along the way 😂
I've never even heard of LEGO Brick Tales, but DAMN, that's a shame 'cause it seems SO fun! Thanks for telling us! Going on cozy game Switch wishlist for sure!

Can’t believe I hadn’t heard of some of these! ❤
I wouldn't call Balatro cozy, I guess card games don't fall under that category for me, but I LOVE this game 😂
Moonlighter is also available on mobile through Netflix.
Great video!
Moonlighter huh. Thanks for recommending it. Its looks like my type of game.
GODS GARDEN STORY IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE GAMES OF ALL TIME RAAAAAH
If you like rogue like card games you may like solitairica for mobile. I bought all of the decks and am still working on beating the boss with some of them including the original free one.

If you pay for a Netflix subscription then moonlighter is free to play on your ipad
Thank you
My big sister used to LOVE potion permit, I couldn't get the hang of it though.

This guy has Charlie Kelly energy I can’t explain it
Garden story is cute and cozy though the combat was a bit too much at times. And yea the good music
Totemlands is a great and cheap game, currently on sale, I never saw anyone talking about this game!
There's a perfect balance between education and entertainment.
Moonlighter also has a demo in North America and Europe to try out before you buy. I recommend the complete edition which packs in the dlc and is also regularly on sale for 85-90%
Doesn't Garden Story have an easy/God mode for us fighting challenged cozy gamers?
my ✨fiancé✨
Liligator
From.what game is the girl im the miniature
One thing about moonlighter, the dungeons are procedurely generated, which for me is a deal breaker
Balatro is the card game the sea people play in Dave the Diver and I swear I was like wow I could spend all my time in this game playing a mini game so I’m happy to learn there is a separate game for it
