So I just bought this unit. I bought 2 extra rods and I shoot a custom bolt gun with a 28 inch proof sendero barrel with a break. Barely fits so my question is why go with steel rods and not aluminum or even carbon fiber?With 2 rods and the unit attached to my 3 inch pic rail underneath, this thing weighs over 3lbs and that’s a lot for a small pic rail.
Do you make a magnetospeed mount for people using a regular rifles stock and not a chassis or handguard? I only have the sling mount on my stock and prefer to not have to add bulk to my stock.
