    This seems pretty straight forward. I have 630 miles on my DRT and I really want to give it some more power and speed. Would there be ANY benefit in JUST upgrading the controller to that 60v-72v controller or do you also need the battery? Does seem like the cheapest option to upgrade it.

      Beneficial with more voltage- 52v still 37mph - 60v about 40mph and 72v about 47mph using stock motor

      @@EbikeAdventures damn thank you for the info! So really the most expensive part would be the battery. Do you have the link in the amazing page for the 60v or 72v batteries?

    Are you interested in doing a review/intro video on a prototype frame? I'm trying to launch an indiegogo campaign by feb and was looking for people who might want to hop on one of our bikes the last week of sept/1st week of october.

    Are you plugging the power for the stock revv1 display to the second battery??

    • @owenwilliams3285
      @owenwilliams3285 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I've followed all the steps, but I don't have the original display plugged into anything. I didn't see you plugg it into a second battery... But I'm going to try that tomorrow

      I split the 52v battery to run one on stock controller and one on the combiner with 60 or 72v battery and the white wire to detect speed. My FS version detects right away- my DRT version has sporadic speed readings but at least it keeps the lights on

    If you use the throttle with the speedometer..what wire do you connect from the controller to the throttle to get the speed??

    • @EbikeAdventures
      @EbikeAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      use the phase meter wire (brown) from controller to the left over wire and amazon has instructions for voltage, miles, and wheel configurations

  • @chesteryao
    @chesteryao 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Wait I lost the part how you powered on your display? So all you need is the white wire connected to stock controller? Is the display connected to the stock controller or new controller? What is powering on your display? I don't see the stock controller plugged into any battery.

    • @EbikeAdventures
      @EbikeAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Good catch, I used a splitter or a combiner to power the two controllers

    • @chesteryao
      @chesteryao 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@EbikeAdventures Oh okay. So when you get your 60v/72v battery you can use that for the new controller and run the stock controller with 52v for your spedometer and lights? I watch @MrCentralDriver video and I think he uses similar set up but his lights and display shuts off every 10mins.

    • @EbikeAdventures
      @EbikeAdventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@chesteryao Right but I'll run a battery combiner so when higher voltage runs out it uses the 52v for more range and back up
