Robert Sherman) discussing his vocal mechanism & exercise regime, the then-state of black singers and audiences, etc. Includes his first recording of the aria from Rachmaninoff's Aleko (5:20) and an excerpt from his recording of Shostakovich's Symphony No. 14 (20:06).
