    Useful looking set of paints.
    I had no idea they existed prior to this video. Thanks for sharing!

    can you do a comparrison vid of some cheap basic can spraycan colour and the dirty down so its easier to tell the diffrent, lets say an dull orange/lightbrown and the rust effect.

      antiprenör props/theology/horror it would be hard to find a fair comparison plus of course other sprays have their uses as well!
      But I’ll Defo include a side by side comparison in a future dirty down video thanks for the comment

    someone asked as its water soluble whats a good way to seal the dirty down to give it a longer lasting effect ( some reason i saw the comment and now i cant) use a matt varnish after application ( spray)

    Hi love your work! Is there a spray i can use which is more permanent for fabrics? I have only experimented with spray paint atm and ofc it 95% came off in the wash.

      Seth Dylan depends on the look you want. I use a mix of acrylic, spray paint and dyes for permanent effects. But most things will come out in a machine wash so it’s best to wash by hand if you want to minimise that

      Seth Dylan for an ice winter look use fine white spray on the lower sections. Sort of depends what sort of climate as most ice et doesn’t build up on clothes unless extreme cold. Dirty down do an ice spray that’s very good

    How does the finish feel on material Mr W? Does it remain soft or does it have the same feel that you get when you use a regular rattle can?

    • @DustMonkey
      @DustMonkey  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      GearTechCustomPaint it doesn’t affect the material at all, which is one of the BIG plus sides to using dirty down.

      GearTechCustomPaint you tried acrylics or dyes ? Check out my weathering tutorial for fantasy costume. Same techniques work across genre
