  • We loved the Eastern Cape and Dwesa Nature Reserve was one of the highlights of this trip. We stayed at Dwesa for three nights. We were the only people camping here, so it was lovely to have this whole place for ourselves. The landscape and views from here were breathtaking. The roads in the nature reserve are extremely overgrown so, unfortunately, we couldn’t explore the whole nature reserve, but we were able to see some breathtaking views. We had a trail walk with a tour guide, Vuyani - highly recommended. His stories and knowledge about Dwesa and the Eastern Cape were very captivating.
We spend most days by the beach, fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the quietness surrounding us.
From Dwesa Nature Reserve, we traveled up to Coffee Bay, one of my bucket list spots. It was beautiful, but we had some heavy rainfall while here. We went to the hole in the wall and were able to explore the beautiful landscapes in and around Coffee Bay.
