As a boy we lived in Aliwal-north, I used to accompany my dad on his early Sunday morning paper run. We would start i Aliwal-north, then head to Lady Grey ,Barkley-east Rhodes ,Elloit,Mclear,Dordrecht ,Jamestown and back to Aliwal in time for lunch,in order to do that my dad usually drove over the high graval passes to cut km,s of his journey....He did those deliveries in a 1400 bakkie ,now you need a 4x4 to traval those passes.....

Stunning scenery (mother nature gets the credit though). Excellent videography and editing (this is all you). Amazing drone work (also you). These videos are some of my favorite TH-cam content ever - they reach down into your soul and trigger emotions - not an easy thing to do through a glowing screen of pixels 14,000 km away, but somehow you do it. Freaking love your country mate and need to get back there again.

Awesum video, Thank you. Feeling a bit tearful, I really miss going far from the madding crowd, camping and a rough road or two. Last trip being about 5 yrs ago, into Die Hel in my trusty Mahindra Scorpio (no 4x4) and needing to do some serious water crossings after a hectic storm during the night. What a rush, and me driving about 7 or 8 months after breaking both arms, felt like Wonder Woman, until I passed a little house at the bottom with an old Fiat Uno (or was it a Mazda 323 ) parked in the drive way 😄

    Hi Matt & Nicole,
I'll bet you're as up to paper work and writing as I am so I really don't expect a reply but it would be fun.
I'm an old guy, I'll be 77 this month and although I got my first rifle at 8 I've never wanted to apply myself to understand the technical side of shooting. My style has always been, see the dust and adjust. Until I started watching you.
Being on a fixed income and couldn't afford a Impact now but am starting with your Titon 3-18x50 FFP with Eagle Vision mounts, rangefinder and sand bag, I would have preferred the one from Patriot but couldn't get one from Utah Airguns. There going on a S&W MP AR15-22.
When I was 8 we bought a ranch in Oregon that was overrun with digger squirrels and my dad bought me a short barreled 22 single shot and gave me the responsibility of thinning them out. We moved again when I was almost 10 and trust me you might see a digger squirrel but they never stopped moving if they ever got more than their head out of his hole.
After I've got my rifle shooting to my satisfaction I plan to take it to the gun shop I bought the rifle from and introduce them to Element Optics.
My parents had me when they were quite young and I remember camping with them and they remind me of you and Nicole. Also, you look so much like my childhood best friend it's spooky.
Hoping all is well in your world, Rye Hillyer

Hi Matt. Hierdie videos is absolutely asemrowend!
Ek dink dit sal n baie interesante video maak en n baie hulpsame video aangesien daar min videos daar buite is voel ek oor daai spesifieke onderwerp.
Baie dankie vir die video Matt! Sien uit na die volgende een!
