Oh my, totally agree with this! One time, yes, especially if you're a hiker, but would I go again? Not really no haha. The road from St Lucia was very tiring for us, because of all the speed bumps, for hours and hours, with people waiting around them to see if you would break anything at your car. That made it a terrible long road, in my opinion. If it wasn't for those, the road would have been better. (no warning signs either, the paint wasn't there anymore, the bumps looked exactly like the road, surprising us all the time)
Love the place. Used to go there as a kid. Fishing was awesome. Will go back in a heartbeat. Sadly the opportunity to go has not been there BUT will be there within 12 months.
What a beautiful wild coast after the establishment of the republic pf Transkei the region detorriated dearly after the departure pf all whites there everything went south
I'm in coffee bay at the moment. It is dirty, urine smells everywhere. Some areas look desilated. It is definitely only for locals and back packers. 😢Will never even think of stopping hear again. Nature will always be beautiful but......... humans........
I agree with you. I was there over the weekend from the 4th May 2024 to the 6th May 2024. Those informal tour guides are irritating. They are so persistent and makes your visit unpleasant.
Thanks for posting. Beautiful spot! Used to Fish there years ago. Sad about the litter!
Thanks, it’s still beautiful despite the downsides.
Thank you for showing us beautiful Coffee Bay ♥️🙏
I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Love it its so beautiful 🙏
Heading there next month , so enjoyed watching your footage . Thanks for sharing
I’m not jealous at all😂 You’re in for a treat, and your vehicle will handle the roads with ease.

Sounds like a great adventure despite the dodgy roads👌

Thanks for the awesome video
It's a pleasure Jenny, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Why you wouldn’t come back…?
@@teddy.nkosi3 I probably would go back if the circumstances arose, but realistically it's unlikely, new adventures to be had and all that ✈
Yea thanks coz we seem to know a lot about out of South Africa but more less about our own South Africa

There was quite a bit of work being done on improving roads, so we must hope that will continue.

Pity about the filth nowadays, beautiful place, beaches used to feel very remote and secluded.
That's the truth.

It's a pity, it spoils an otherwise wonderful experience.
