The coolant jug is empty way below empty. It’s been 4 years, but it should have been topped up to Max with 50/50 Asian blue and inspected for leaks particularly the heater hose coupler, which is a common place.
Next time you do a belt change on a G they're two holes on the tensioner you stick any sized Allen key through and it locks the tensioner so you don't have hold it with a ratchet.
yeah man and one of the pcv hoses and had to take off the throttle bodies! a ton of other stuff! the only mistake i made is i lost one of my maf sensor screws in the engine bay.... im gonna see if my mechanic can go from under and try to find it, or ill just get a new one -___-
Dude the shit is easy, yea you take the intakes/throttle bodies off but that’s not hard at all. You want hard, try a FWD car where the actual intake manifold has to come off. 30 minutes to 1 hour job. A G is like the easiest car to work on.
Possible drawback would be water getting into something it shouldn’t like a distributor but they don’t have those and most of the time you’re fine. I’d say take it off for heat reasons as all it really does is trap heat
I love the squeaking brakes. Seems all these cars do that in reverse. So, where's the engine splash pan? I put these TBW aluminum pans on both my 350Z and my Q60S. Makes oil and filter changes a LOT quicker.
Yep, the Infiniti 4 piston caliper brakes with original Infiniti pads. Car has 10500 miles on it and has squeaked since new. My 350Z did the same thing. In the Z, when I replaced the pads with after market ones the problem went away completely. I have heard that beveling the edges of the pads helps. It only does this when going very slow and braking lightly. At normal speeds and when stopping normally, it is a non issue.
Excuse Me Miss it’s a timing chain, and it should last the life of the vehicle, unless you have a rattle from the timing area then the guides may need servicing. That only occurs to people who drive them too hard.
Hi I have a 2010 Infiniti G37 what is the kind of oil should I be using...and what is the best kind of gas to use I’ve been using 87 since I’ve had this car
1. You need to use a new oem nussan drain plug gusket each time you change oil 2. The delco belt is crap, and the original belt did not have any visual symptoms for replacement 3. What shit oil did you put in there? For this VQ engine you need to use high quality full synthetic oil preferebly with esters 4. Drain bolt needs be tightened with a torque wrench What a f..ng horrid service!!! That is why i do maintenance myself, rather trust shitheads mechanics
Eugene Tooms I used to work at Toyota of Kirkland and they actually put in full synthetic oil but it ALWAYS depends on management whether cheap shit or good shit
That oil is called CAM2 Super Pro Max 5W-30 Synthetic Blend Motor Oil, what is unique about it and I haven't been able to find it in other oils is that it has something called preignition protection. Since this is a year old I suspect you may have already know what it is. It's seems the G37 suffers from a standing slow start on the gas engine knocking. I search for over a year trying to figure it out and some guy on another vid figured it out. I thought I had an issue with my gas but I use 93 Octane all the time. Since I drive my car like Granpa owns it when I come to a light and start on the gas slowly I get this pre ignition knocking. It's annoying as hell. If I give the gas peddle a little more juice I never hear it. I suspect that the syntehic oil with Esters in it combats the Preignition knocking. But I could never pinpoint the noise related to when I started using Valvoline synthetic.
Could a non-mechanic do this type of job? Serpentine belt replacement on 2009 EX35 and I plan cleaning my throttle bodies.... Anytips.? SO, there is no AC belt for this 2009 EX35 ... right? Could you make a video about throttle bodies for infiniti VQ35HR engines. .. . Thank you ... oh And Happy Turkey Day too btw :)
Gm Mg yes a newbie can do it, just draw out the routing or take a pic, yes it has the 3.5 hr motor which converted to a single belt set up. The tensioner is a 3/8 drive
Gm Mg yes I can make a throttle cleaning video, but mine would be slightly different b/c I have a cold air intake, but if it will help you out I can do it by tuesday. A tip for the throttle job would be remember to plug all lines and connectors back up or the car may not start or may piss coolant.😅
Deez Nuts yes either, mass air flow is going bad or barometer sensor. A temporary fix will be to give it gas as you start it up👍 I upgraded to a cold air intake and that problem never happened again.
@@Tj5XX only reliable as long as the owner took care of the car. You run the risk of having the car break down on you if it wasn’t properly maintained.

Any benefit or drawback of driving without the engine splash shield?
Possible drawback would be water getting into something it shouldn’t like a distributor but they don’t have those and most of the time you’re fine. I’d say take it off for heat reasons as all it really does is trap heat
I’m confused, was the purpose of this video instructional or merely designed to give the viewer a headache?
The 2 air filters looked dirty as hell. Why not replacing too?
I like them that way.

Hezha Abdullah cam 2
I thought the same thing lol. Looks cheap tho
Hey man. Just checking out your TH-cam from IG. Keep up the good work! Subscribe!
11:05 Is it normal that it squeaks so much ?
It all depends on pad quality ad rotor surface.
1. You need to use a new oem nussan drain plug gusket each time you change oil

Wasup man I had a question. I got a G37s coupe as well and when i start it sometimes (not cold start) it will shut off. You know what that could be?

Yeah thats what i usually do is give it some gas. And when i ran the scanner the mass air flow sensor code came up
