    In this exercise video Meredith takes you through an intermediate level standing abs and core workout, perfect for getting a quick workout in or adding in at the beginning or end of one of our many other workouts.
    This intermediate level workout is completely standing but Meredith also recommends that you keep either a chair or stand somewhere close to something that you can hold on to. Having extra stability always helps when doing standing "balance" type routines.
    This is a shorter exercise routine and is meant to work just your core and ab area. There is always an important connection between the mind and body when exercising and especially when doing ab routines. They can easily be done improperly and you may miss out on the benefits of these movements.
    As mentioned earlier, use this workout as a stand alone or "piggy back" this routine on to another one of your favorite workouts to get a full ab workout in as well.
    As always, only do movements that work best for you and never force any moves that cause discomfort or pain. Keep water close by and have a great workout!

    This Meredith core workout is great and does not put pressure on knee MCLs or ACLs and also does not put pressure on pelvic floor muscles, which can causes problems later in life, or even when you are young. You can read about this. Thanks Meredith for saving me.

    I used to have a pretty strong core and then I got lazy and stopped doing the necessary workouts. Then I started getting some lower back pain, a sure sign that I had neglected my core workouts for too long. The problem is that I am now a senior, and I was having trouble getting back to doing my "regular" abdominal workouts. Thankfully, I found your channel and started doing some of your core workouts. I started getting results in 3-4 days. Your explanations, tips, and alternative suggestions are very helpful. Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me the chance to get my core in shape again. I will definitely be checking out your other exercise videos. I'm not as young as I used to be, and I need to be taking that into account when I try to get back into shape, so your exercise videos will be a good place to start.

    Dear Meredith..VERY TRUE to yr words " I am here for you when needed "..just completed your workout. Although I'm fasting, BUT that does'nt mean I cannot do any workouts. Its just a matter of strong mind and the will to stay fit and healthy during this month long, which is in the 14 days of fasting. Glad that I've found your channel to follow. From my observation, yr channel has everything and suitable for everyone. Once again, tqvm dear Meredith.     I do like and need the core work. I really struggle with breathing WHILE holding my core in. It's like if I focus on my breathing, then I can't feel my core, and vice versa!
