Thanks for the videos, I’m building my spec Miata here in Florida And this channel has been my guide to be able to run at the end of this year. Thanks again
That would have been good to know when I was doing a track day every couple of weeks in the UK where tracks are clockwise and the left front bearings lasted maybe 6 months. I ended up just putting a new one on every three months as preventative maintenance because I didn't want another failure on track.
The bearings and races are matched for life. It is not recommended that you swap them around. I just toss the hub away. Getting hubs from the wrecker is way easier than trying to miss match hubs back together. Hint buy in volume, I get a better price on those hubs.
Al Angulo, I love you. Best class ever.

Using three dimes is probably cheaper than washers. Plus you can still use them. As always, thanks for the tip.
If a race is slightly pitted would that be a junk hub bearing as a whole or could I replace the race with a good one if the balls are all good still?

What would you recommend in alternative to a solvent tank? Lots of brake clean?
Yes brake clean or that citrus cleaner that is California friendly.
